The Oprah Winfrey Network: OWN has several original scripted series and, while they don’t attract as many viewers as broadcast shows, they can develop quite a loyal fanbase. An OWN primetime soap opera from Jamey Giddens and Will Packer, Ambitions stars Robin Givens, Essence Atkins, Brian Bosworth, Deena Dill, Gino Anthony Pesi, Kayla Smith, Kendrick Cross, Brely Evans, Brian White, Matt Cedeño, and Erica Page. Unfolding in Atlanta, Georgia, the family drama delves into the ways sex, love, power, and politics play out in The ATL. The series centers on former college best friends Stephanie Lancaster (Givens) and Amara Hughes (Atkins), who are now high-powered attorneys at odds in both the personal and professional arenas of their lives.
