What say you, America? Game Show Network (GSN) has announced actor John Michael Higgins will host its new America Says TV show. A weekday, half-hour game show, America Says premieres on GSN on Monday, June 18, 2018 at 5:00pm ET. Higgins is a veteran of the Great News TV series, which was cancelled last week, after two seasons on NBC.

ACTOR JOHN MICHAEL HIGGINS NAMED AS HOST OF GAME SHOW NETWORK’S NEW SURVEY-BASED SHOW, ‘AMERICA SAYS’ PREMIERING JUNE 18
New Half-Hour Daily Series Challenges Contestants to Match Survey Answers For a Chance at $15,000
SANTA MONICA, Calif. — Game Show Network, the leader in game shows and competitive entertainment, has added actor John Michael Higgins (“Great News,” “Pitch Perfect”) as host of its new survey-matching game show, AMERICA SAYS. The new half-hour series will premiere June 18 at 5 pm ET and will air Monday through Friday.
AMERICA SAYS is a fast-paced studio game show where two teams of friends and family face off to guess America’s responses with fill in the blanks to survey questions covering every topic under the sun. They’ll have to be quick when trying to think of what America says, as time is always ticking and the team with the most money banked after three rounds will head to a bonus round to see if they can guess even more survey responses to win up to $15,000.
Recognized for his iconic roles in films like “Pitch Perfect,” “The Break-Up” and “Best In Show”, Higgins is also known for providing voices for characters in popular animated series “Bob’s Burgers” and Nickelodeon’s “The Legend of Korra.”
AMERICA SAYS is based on a format by Keller/Noll. John Quinn serves as executive producer. Tara Long and Mark Herwick of Entertainment One (eOne) and Dave Noll and Cleve Keller of Keller/Noll serve as executive producers.
What do you think? How do you like the sound of the America Says TV series? Do you plan to check it out when it debuts on GSN?
Love the show! Would love to see a game board of this
I love American says, John Michael Higgins does a great job. I enjoy so much that show and Michael. I’m an older guy, but that shouldn’t matter. It’s a great show for all ages. Thank you so much.
My husband and I love the game show America Says, and also the host!!!
I Love the show ! But when contestants don’t get answers they take the answers off screen to soon ! Viewers can’t see the screen that quickly !
I love the show. I only have one comment , question regardingMr Higgins. Why does he refer to a panel of four women as you guys? Don’t look like guys. Thanks for a fun show. Sincerely, June Mango
I’m laughing, June. It’s a California thing, I think. When I moved to Tennessee, it made people laugh. Then they said “y’all.” (smile)
Great new game concept. Boring new host.
I’m a “student of human nature,” and these comments have demonstrated why. The wide range of comments about the host are amazing examples of how differently we all view the same thing! No wonder politics are in such a muddle right now.
When will America Says come back on air?
Me and my wife really like the America Says show. John Michael does a great job. He also has a wonderful personality.
Love the show! Finally, a game show you can watch with the kids and not worry about inappropriate things being said. Most of the game shows are geared with adult humor and can’t let the kids watch them. Great host and fast moving show!
Great show I watch it every single day ; and the host is a very cool guy please don’t cancel this show
He say that they ask America. How to you answer some questions? Is there a survey somewhere, because that sounds like fun.
I agree! Like, where are they getting these survey answers? Maybe if the show sticks around they could put up an actual survey online for the game show network?
I get a kick out of him saying the “ask” America a question–and then he reads a “statement,” not a question at all. I think he used to always say, “We asked America “How would you fill in the blank.” I’ll have to listen closely to see if he always says it one way or the other. But either way, it’s okay.
I really like this show. It is fun to watch and fun to try and keep up with answers. Mr. Higgins is a great host. I hope it sticks around.
I really like this show. I do agree about the money it would nice if they could win more! Mr. Higgins is doing a great job. I would like to find out how to get on the show?
I like the premise and the host, Higgins, is less irritating than most. I wish the contestants earned more money (a measly $1,000 of they don’t win the big money), and that the contestants understood how to “read” the board, based on questions. I mean, when the question is “what do you watch when your husband isn’t home”, and the letters are S__A__T__C___, how would someone not know that? (Sex And The City)? I doubt if I will watch anymore (I’ve been watching since the premiere on June). Booooooring for such a miserly payoff.
I didn’t know the answer because I never watched the ***** show. Yet, i’m still considered quite intelligent.
I like the new America Says game show. It’s simple and fun without the heartstopping, lifechanging amount of money involved. The host is funny and quick on his responses. I could see him taking Alex Trebeks place if he ever gives up and retires. (Not likely) But Mr. Trebek has slowed down so much they often can’t get through all of the catagories. Time to hang it up Alex. On the other hand, the new Match Game is horrible. No one will ever be able to take Gene Rayburn’s place nor the equal the old panel.
Is the new Match Game with Wayne Brady? I thought I passed by it and saw him. I agree about Gene Rayburn, although that was one show you wouldn’t watch with your little kids. Quite a lot of innuendo. I think I need to spring for an updated TV service.
