TV show description:
This obstacle course competition series conducts a nationwide search to find the ultimate athlete who will be crowned as a true American Ninja Warrior. It’s based on the global hit TV show from the Tokyo Broadcast System, Sasuke. The original series had 2,700 competitors attempt to complete the challenge and only three people successfully completed the course.
Schoolteachers, firemen, police officers and other everyday heroes turn themselves into acrobatic athletes on an arduous obstacle course. Regional qualifying competitions are held in Los Angeles, Dallas and Miami to determine the finalists who will ultimately have a shot at a $500,000 cash prize and the chance to win the coveted American Ninja Warrior title.
The national finals culminate in Las Vegas with the top 100 competitors trying their hand at the punishing four-stage obstacle course which is fashioned after the original Mount Midoriyama in Japan. Who will be the first American in history to complete the course?
The TV series is hosted by Olympic Gold Medalist Jonny Moseley and Comedian Matt Iseman along with sideline reporter, Angela Sun, who gives viewers an up-close look at the course and its competitors.

What do you think? Do you like the American Ninja Warrior TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for another season?
I have no use for the fake ‘southern accents’ on NCIS new Orleans version..I will not watch it..the other NCIS are fine. Please keep ‘In the heat of the night’ on and those on before it on NBC, WREX Rockford, IL Better story lines in some of the older series on from 9 a.m., 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. on NBC, WREX, Rockford IL. Good entertainment..as is Mayberry USA. Thanks!
Cancel this SOB story show, the Japanese version is more about them competeting than about stupid SOB stories taking up 30-40 mins of the show. Then the contestants last like 20 seconds. Its stupid as hell, tired of these shows that take no effort or are ‘Americanized’
Love ANW! Have to keep this on!
Renew this show, it is such an inspiration to many who otherwise may be couch potatoes.
Once a week , I can handle, not 3-4 times per week with repeats over and over. Too many dumb reality shows on TV. Ninja warrior without repeats and on once per week, I’ll watch. Why would I want to watch the same show over and over. While I’m complaining, cancel Survivor, Big Brother,Batcholerette. I don’t care a flying leap at a doughnut about watching sweaty, isolated islanders, confined milineals, or proposing people week after week after boring week!
2018 AMERICAN NINJA WARRIOR MAY 30, 2018 !!! CAN’T WAIT !!!
When I said break between stages I was referring to 2, 3 & 4
I love the show. Especially since they aren’t competing against each other but the obstacles, and everybody helps and supports everybody else. I also think the winners of each stage should get more of a break before the next stage. Thank you for allowing me to express my opinion. I have friends who don’t do email that feel the same way. I work with the elderly and really seems to appeal to them.
A little of Ninja warrior goes along way for me. It’s on too, too often. Twice a month would be fine. It gets boring after seeing it so often. Please take Batchelor in Paradice off, as well as Big Brother and survivor. Who wants to watch mud caked indivuals pretending to be island transplants competing in challenges. After 20+ years , it’s a moldy oldy .
I don’t care about those other shows but I look forward to seeing ANW every week and look forward to the next season.
I like the show to be re new I like the show
I normally hate sports, but I love ANW because the competition is friendly, there’s excellent sportsmanship all around, the competitors support each other instead of trying to defeat each other, there’s no trash-talking, and the men and women compete on completely equal ground. I love it and I hope it goes on forever. 🙂
My thoughts exactly.
I agree completely! There doesn’t seem to be any backstabbing or hurtful anything going on between the competitors. I LOVE the sportsmanship. If only all sports and contests could be like this!
Great family show. Renew!
Such a disappointing end to last season. The final 2 participants should be financially compensated something despite being unable to complete the last station. Producers made the last obstacles too tough to complete back to back.
This is the only non scripted tv show I have ever watched and it shows off what anyone can do if they try. I wish I was young enough to compete. Great show, keep it up!
please don’t stop American ninja worror. I love that show
