Sometimes you can’t beat walking the beat. FOX has cancelled Len Wiseman’s APB TV show after just one season.
A high-tech police drama, APB stars Justin Kirk as billionaire engineer Gideon Reeves, who takes charge of the troubled 13th District, after the murder of his friend. The FOX cast also includes: Natalie Martinez, Caitlin Stasey, Ernie Hudson, Taylor Handley, Tamberla Perry, and Nestor Serrano.
APB: A Look at the Ratings
The first season of APB averaged a 0.78 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.43 million viewers. While its total average audience size was respectable (when compared to the rest of FOX’s shows), the demo numbers were far too low for a freshman drama, hence the cancellation. Sad, it seems that any show that inspires and is interesting is dropped to make room shows that can’t even use the English Language correctly. This is a great show family friendly show that gets children and adults excited about new technogy and also doing the right thing. I hope this is picked up again.

APB was a great show. There are to many so that new ones cant get tje following……Sad almost mskes me not want to like new shows. This was one of the top 3 I wanted to come back.

They are idoits for canceling season 2. It was so good and i always watched it on hulu since im at work when it comes on.
I don’t know why they cancelled it. This was a very good show. About what is really happening in the word. Technology is moving forward. And maybe this show would have giving the police some good ideas.
Once again, they seem to cancel the good ones. We only watch TV shows on DVR. I wonder if the ratings systems are accurate in the new age of how people like to watch TV. Gone are the days when we scheduled our lives around TV programing…if I cant control when to watch it, I dont watch it…I have stuff to do. I thought APB was a great show… for FOX that is saying a lot. They should have never canceled the show I was looking forward to season 2 and to see what happened next. Especially between Murphy and Gideon. Once again Fox goes and screws up another great show but keeps on showing the shows that make absolutely no sense to me…. They have a good show for once so of course they cancel it. And Fox wonders why their ratings are always low.
