CBS has had mixed success with their new crime dramas this season. NCIS: New Orleans has been renewed for a second season while Stalker has been dropped from the schedule and may likely be cancelled. What will happen to Battle Creek? Stay tuned.
Battle Creek revolves around two mismatched law enforcement officers — Detective Russ Agnew (Dean Winters) and FBI Special Agent Milton Chamberlain (Josh Duhamel) — who have polar opposite views of the world and end up being partners. The rest of the cast includes Janet McTeer, Kal Penn, Aubrey Dollar, and Edward Fordham Jr.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
5/8 update: CBS has cancelled the Battle Creek series midway through its first season.
Final season averages: 0.75 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 6.12 million total viewers.

Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.

Please reconsider to renew this show.I love this show. You did not give it a chance.I love the characters and that it is funny yet some action. You are making a big mistake!
Please keep Battle Creek. It’s refreshing and well written. And not one of the serial franchise reruns.
Battlecreek is a refreshing change from the usual detective shows. Love the characters and the sly humor. Show started slowly, but became a Sunday nite favorite. CBS – reconsider your decision. Thanks.
Please keep Battle Creek. It is different from the usual stuff. Great show. Sure hope you bring it back and Stalker too!
Please keep Battle Creek!! Love the humor. Please don’t cancel.

Great show and getting better. Hope someone picks it up.
Please renew! Great show, great writing, great acting!
I really like Battle Creek and am completely bummed it’s cancelled
We love battle creek. Cant believe it is being cancelled. Please reconsider.
I hate this! It is the one of the new shows I truly love. Crap!
Please keep this show. The first few episodes weren’t that great, but it’s terrific now. Why do networks never give a show a chance. This show is funny and interesting and intense at times. The acting is great and the dialogue is believable. I’m so sick of shows where every character is predictable and one-dimensional. Battlecreek should be continued.
