It looks like the vacation is over. Recently, Jeff Dye confirmed that NBC has cancelled Better Late Than Never after two seasons.
The reality show follows Henry Winkler, William Shatner, Terry Bradshaw, and George Foreman as they travel the world with both help and misdirection from tech-savvy comedian Jeff Dye.
On Twitter, Dye revealed NBC has decided not to renew Better Late Than Never. The series wrapped its second season in February with an average rating of .91 in the 18-49 demo and 4.819 million viewers. That’s a nearly 40% drop in ratings from season one.

What do you think? Have you seen Better Late Than Never? Are you sad it’s been cancelled?
NBC should have brought back better late than never for third season. They leave on trash and cancel the good shows.
Every time you get and awesome show you cancel it!! Or if it is doing well on a certain night you move it to try to take over high review for that night ,when the top show that night started there and viewers will take the one they always watch ,that stays on the same night and channel!
I cannot belive that the network bigs cancelled one of our favorite shows on tv .l am desapointed.THE NETWORKis only worried about Money.
I love Better Late than Never – one of the only funny shows on TV. We watch it over and over. Very sad that it was canceled. Only NBC show I actually watched. Hopefully another network will pick it up.
I love Better Late Than Never! It’s one of the only shows that makes you laugh from start to finish. I am very sad it was canceled
Boooo!!!! This show made us laugh the entire hour. Even regular comedies don’t do that.
nbc now cancelling two shows I really liked better late than never and as well as timeless Why
Wow great show terrible that there isn’t season 3 happening find another network and continue please would be nice NBC why
Fed up with shows being cancelled and it’s always the good ones, there doesn’t seem any point in watching anything lately if it’s going to be cancelled after season two.
Please can another channel take over this great and hilarious programme.
Yes, please continue the series. Hope that another channel will continue the fun
I am soooooo aggravated that another of my favorite shows have been cancelled!!! So many if my favorites have already been cancelled. I’m ready to get rid of my cable tv and just watch DVDs. These tv stations give more horrendous excuses!!! I am fed up with television!!!
This is a great show. Is it because it appeals to older viewers that it was cancelled? Keep on all of the mindless shows with terrible casts and cancel the good ones. Very disappointing.
Please tell us you’re going to find a new home for Better Late Than Never. I love this show. Here again, your demo never includes Senior Citizens.
Thanks NBC, as usually you don’t care.
No!!! We LOVE this show!!! we didn’t discover it until we saw it on nbc on demand- we watch it over
And over!!!
Love this show! I’ve also watched the original Korean version before, and they are still shooting more seasons.
They should poll the people actually watching the show..not the under 30 crowd! This show was really fun 5o watch!
I can’t believe they canceled “Better late than never “. I guess if it’s not got sexual content, lame “reality” content and constant fighting they think it’s not worth airing. I LOVE this inspiring show. It let’s all of us know that it’s never to late to follow our dreams. I adore watching all four of our biggest cultural icons and Jeff Dye as well. By canceling this show the networks prove once again how out of tune they are with a HUGE segment of their viewing audience. I can only hope, wish and cross my fingers that one of… Read more »
