It looks like the vacation is over. Recently, Jeff Dye confirmed that NBC has cancelled Better Late Than Never after two seasons.
The reality show follows Henry Winkler, William Shatner, Terry Bradshaw, and George Foreman as they travel the world with both help and misdirection from tech-savvy comedian Jeff Dye.
On Twitter, Dye revealed NBC has decided not to renew Better Late Than Never. The series wrapped its second season in February with an average rating of .91 in the 18-49 demo and 4.819 million viewers. That’s a nearly 40% drop in ratings from season one.

What do you think? Have you seen Better Late Than Never? Are you sad it’s been cancelled?
I’ve read all the previous comments and they make excellent points. But one point should be made. NBC cancels anything that is really good before its time. The iconic Star Trek was cancelled after only three seasons! By NBC. Ask Bill Shatner!
Great show, something you could watch, be entertained, have a laugh and learn something. Was looking forward to see where they would end up next. Great chemistry between them all. VERY disappointed that it wasn’t renewed. Hopefully another network will pick it up.
Please bring back Better Late Than Never…..my favorite show…..
Loved this show, the whole family enjoyed it SO DISAPPOINTED it was cancelled
We’re so disappointed this show has been cancelled!! My kids, 11 and 15 and I love watching together. We laugh hard a lot and cry at times. There aren’t many programs we all enjoy. This one leaves you feeling good and excited for the next show.
As a former Vietnam era Navy man, I felt like I was again on Liberty with my Shipmates, especially in Season 1. Gut I had a ball watching these guys, during both Seasons. Please bring them back.
Why is it that all of the light hearted fun shows get cancelled. This was a great show to watch when you just needed a good chuckle. It was also interesting to see the places they traveled and some of the perplexing situations they got themselves into. This really needs to be brought back. We have enough doom and gloom guys. Lets have some fun!
We love Better Late Then Never and want a 3rd season darn you NBC. Please put it back on or let another network air it.I will boycott NBC until they bring it back or until another network picks it up..
I want the sho back- please It was funny, and fun to learn where they go and what happens – this was a great fill in series – send the series to another network!
We are so sad they have been canceled. What a fun show. Love all those guys.
We loved this show! Apparently, since I’m beyond the 18-49 demographic, my viewership isn’t valuable to the networks and advertisers. Yet, I’ll bet my discretionary income is much higher than the “preferred” age group.
Why???? This show is amazing! Good, clean fun! I’m so sad!!
This was one of the best shows I have seen- The men are incredible and I never stopped laughing during every episode. I recommended it to many friends who started watching and also loved it. Please reconsider and bring this back- We all could use some delightful humor nowadays.
Love this show! Pls don’t cancel!
Extremely disappointed!! This was just a fun loving show that made me laugh. I’m so done with the network series shows because I get to liking them, and next thing I know they are cancelled!
