It looks like the vacation is over. Recently, Jeff Dye confirmed that NBC has cancelled Better Late Than Never after two seasons.
The reality show follows Henry Winkler, William Shatner, Terry Bradshaw, and George Foreman as they travel the world with both help and misdirection from tech-savvy comedian Jeff Dye.
On Twitter, Dye revealed NBC has decided not to renew Better Late Than Never. The series wrapped its second season in February with an average rating of .91 in the 18-49 demo and 4.819 million viewers. That’s a nearly 40% drop in ratings from season one.

Maybe better marketing would help with ratings…
Just goes to show that NBC has no clue. I loved this show, it was funny and I mean funny – laughed till I cried, and entertaining – you also got to see some parts of the world as well. Again STUPID MOVE NBC…..
Im disgusted NBC cancelled Better Late Than Never! Always greedy executive’s making decisions all about the almighty dollar taking off great shows and replacing them with some crap. It was hilarious, educational, and serious all at the same time! What more do you want!! SMH
I was hoping that a new season would be aired on NBC, this was one of the few shows that you can sit down with the entire family and watch. The show made you laugh, it made you cry, and even better, viewers were able to learn something from the show not only about the people in the show but the different countries that they visited. There are over 700 replies on this website alone which shows there is interest in the show, its a shame NBC doesn’t see this.
I miss this show so much! It was so funny I hurt all over from laughing so much. NBC made a big mistake cancelling this show. I’ve lost faith in NBC and probably won’t watch any of their new shows.
One of the best shows I have ever seen. I can’t believe y’all would cancel this show. Love it. Hope another network picks it up.
I love this show and I hope another network will pick it up

I loved this show. My 83 yr old mother would sit on phone and laugh till we cried. Such a great comedy compared to what they have on today. None
