It looks like the vacation is over. Recently, Jeff Dye confirmed that NBC has cancelled Better Late Than Never after two seasons.
The reality show follows Henry Winkler, William Shatner, Terry Bradshaw, and George Foreman as they travel the world with both help and misdirection from tech-savvy comedian Jeff Dye.
On Twitter, Dye revealed NBC has decided not to renew Better Late Than Never. The series wrapped its second season in February with an average rating of .91 in the 18-49 demo and 4.819 million viewers. That’s a nearly 40% drop in ratings from season one.

What do you think? Have you seen Better Late Than Never? Are you sad it’s been cancelled?
I’m so sad to see that Better Late Than Never has been cancelled. My husband and I loved the show. We laughed and laughed every single week. I wish another station would pick it up.
No Better Late Than Ever this summer? What a shame. It was very entertaining, funny, touching and enlightening. I will miss the camaraderie between these guys. Shame on NBC for canceling it. I guess they we’re looking for a slimier summer show! Won’t be watching nbc this summer.
Gee whiz. A funny show that doesn’t send a message about race or gender and it gets cancelled. Just some ole friends having a great time together while entertaining people. I guess that’s what it’s come to. How embarrassing for us and the network. I’m ashamed
Awwwww. Anyway, no renewal of this show just confirmed our decision to cancel cable. Seems anytime a good show happens, the network axe falls shortly after. My kids, ages 21, 24 and 27 loved… LOVED Better Late Than Never as much as we their parents did! At least we still have The Tick. Oh, wait…
Really liked this show. They should bring it back.
Really enjoyed Better Late Than Never…looked forward to their adventures. Sorry to hear it was canceled…such a good time!
I am so angry!!! Who makes these stupid decisions?!?!? Let’s keep crap TV and cancel the genuinely good ones. BAD DECISION!!!!!!!!!!! Come on another network…pick this show up and show NBC what they can do with their program choices!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Miss better late than never it was the best show on in many years good family fun
So very disappointed that Better late than Never was cancelled. It was the best show on TV. Big mistake! Very disappointed!
This was by far one of the best shows I’ve seen in a while. Leave to the idiots that make decisions about programing to think they know what we want to see. This is why I watch less and less television. They leave the garbage stupid shows on and take off the good ones.
I can’t believe that they cancelled Better Late than Never. That show was so funny and the comedy was g-rated so everyone could watch and get a good laugh. This group of guys were the perfect combo. Please rethink your decision and bring them back PLEASE
Loved watching Better Late than Never hate it was cancelled wish you bring it back. Me and my sister watched it over the phone last season since we lived in different states. Please consider bringing it back.
I love Love Love this show, I am so disapointed to hear that it has been cancelled! Why ??? I had so much fun watching these men on there jouney’s together! Please have a heart and bring it back!!
Absolutely cannot believe this has been cancelled. It was one of the most entertaining shows on television. Was really looking forward to season 3. Especially sad since there is so little worth watching these days. I totally agree with Maggie’s comments from 6-21-19.
I loved this show! I wish they hadn’t been cancelled! To see these well known grown men like this is so refreshing!
Livid in Las Vegas. BLTN was by far one of the best and funniest shows on tv. These gentlemen were fabulous and very refreshing. I’m sorry to say but so many of the shows on now a days should be axed. We are so sad to see what should be renewed is not, and those that are should not be. We are so sad. Gentlemen, know that we looked forward to the next adventure you had. Know you made a couple of old folks really smile Thank you so much for that.
Loved this show. To bad so many of mankind are hung up on so much intertainment that is lacking good clean humor and fun. These guys are all so much fun to watch. Their interactions are great. They are great ambassadors where ever they go. Surely do miss them. In total agreement with Maggie’s post of June 21, 2019. How about Venessa`s July 4, 2019, post suggesting another network. Seems like a great idea, how about it folks? Please bring all 5 ( Mr. Jeff Dye too)of them back.
