It looks like the vacation is over. Recently, Jeff Dye confirmed that NBC has cancelled Better Late Than Never after two seasons.
The reality show follows Henry Winkler, William Shatner, Terry Bradshaw, and George Foreman as they travel the world with both help and misdirection from tech-savvy comedian Jeff Dye.
On Twitter, Dye revealed NBC has decided not to renew Better Late Than Never. The series wrapped its second season in February with an average rating of .91 in the 18-49 demo and 4.819 million viewers. That’s a nearly 40% drop in ratings from season one.

What do you think? Have you seen Better Late Than Never? Are you sad it’s been cancelled?
Please come back!!!!
of course nbc cancelled one of the best shows! they cancel all the better shows
nbc u suck
I loved this show!!!! My family loved this show! We dont see alot of great shows like this anymore. I had it tapped everyone that watched it at my house loved it! The problem was no one knew about it it was not advertised enough or given a chance!
I think it’s a real shame better late than never is a show that my family watch religiously and made us laugh to tears we are very mad at NBC for canceling this show and wish you would reconsider..the show made it a little bit easier to live in this world with laughter instead of always hate and fear and heartbreaking stuff that is constantly shown on television..
Please bring this back thank you.
This is one reason I don’t tell anyone when I like a show! As soon as I do, it’s canceled. This show was an absolute riot. It always made me laugh. Laughter is great medicine, plus I know all of the guys that are in it! I’ve told everyone about it and said if they wanted a good laugh, to watch it!
NBC has been failing a lot by making new ridiculous shows, like the Good Place which was great the 1st season but totally went unwatchable for the 2nd season, instead of sticking with shows that have a following like Better Late Than Never. What a shame they cancelled it. Hopefully, another network will pick up the rights to the show and shoot a few more seasons at least. Those 4 guys were perfectly selected by NBC. Their personalities clinck in so many ways so many times, but come together when it feels right. That is why the show is great,… Read more »
I’m so sad to hear Better late then never is over. That was a great show with a great group of guy’s! This world could really benefit of something so beautiful and funny people. They went to places most have never been to and their all so funny together. I really wish they could make a third season.
Sooooo disappointed that this show has been canceled! Such a funny, inspiring show that reached across generational gaps! We loved watching it with out 22 year old son. What a disappointment!
My husband and I loved this show. These guys work perfectly together. Why is it that the 1 truly great reality show is cancelled and these garbage shows with all the young people who are clueless stays on. Please let this show be picked up on another network that would appreciate it.
I throughly enjoy “Better Late Than Never”, we can only hope that another network would pick it up! It was good, clean family fun, which is a lot more than most of the shows on TV today! Someone come rescue this program!
We all love that show. I think if it had better marketing it could be the little train that would.
No, no say it ain’t so!!! The only thing on TV that my husband and I agree to watch together. It’s nice to laugh at something and not smdh! Please give it another try. Try another network… anything!! My marriage depends on Bradshaw and crew
Sorry to see better late than never canceled. I’m probably in the wrong age group
Please bring it back! I’m so sick of these stupid drama shows. We finally had something wholesome and hysterical the family can enjoy and they cancel it. This was the only show on nbc I watched they stuck
My husband and I belly laughed at those guys! Hilarious! Well, then, some other network pick up this show. We love it!
