Another TV show is shuffling off this mortal coil to the great beyond. Freeform has cancelled its Beyond TV show after two seasons. Since there will be no season three, the March 22nd season two finale, “There’s No Home for You Here,” will have to suffice as the unintentional Beyond TV series finale.
A Freeform sci-fi drama, Beyond stars Burkely Duffield, Romy Rosemont, Michael McGrady, Jonathan Whitesell, Dilan Gwyn, Jeff Pierre, and Eden Brolin. The mystery centers on Holden Matthews (Duffield), who woke after a dozen years in a coma to find himself in the midst of a conspiracy — in a changed world.
Beyond: A Look at the Ratings
The second season of Beyond averaged a 0.08 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 244,000 viewers. Compared to season one, that’s down by 48% and 56%, respectively. Overall, it was the least watched of Freeform’s scripted TV shows, and only rose one spot in the demo, so the cancellation makes sense.
Deadline has confirmed the Beyond cancellation by Freeform.

I absolutely loved Beyond. I loved the whole concept and I got several people in my family to start watching it. Super disappointed that yet another show on this channel that I got very into has been canceled. It seems every show I like on this channel gets canceled and it really makes me question whether I want to continue watching anything on Freeform.

Love this show!! Really bummed to find out it’s been cancelled. Literally just binge watched both seasons after finding this show accidentally on Hulu. I was just anxious to see when season three comes out and stumbled upon this
This is an awesome show. I can’t believe it’s cancelled. I binge watched the first season on Netflix after finding it by accident. Perhaps better promotion would get more viewers to watch. Why do networks only care about the 18 to 49 age bracket? Isn’t the point to get people to spend money no matter what their age? Are the current rating systems truly accurate? It’s just sad a great show is gone.
I love this show. I never saw an advertisement for it. Found it by accident and sat for three days watching it through season 2. I searched for the info regarding the release of season 3 only to see it was cancelled. I hate that I got so involved with the characters and plot to now not know how this show should have ended. Why not give your viewers a 2 hr movie to clean up an ending. Shame.

So much more could have been done. I think freeform should really rethink their choice. I really hate “ratings”. Sometimes it might be a small group but that small group is of hardcore fans. I’m very bummed it was cancelled.
Really great engaging show. There is so much more that can be done with this series. What you’re out of ideas so you just drop all us fans, not right at all. At least wrap it up effectively and let fans no ahead of time it’s the final season.
I think the show had a good plot and a good amount of action to keep us wanting more.
I very liked the show beyond and think they should make a season 3.

I am mortified that this has been cancelled; after spending last week on a “beyond” fest, i was looking forward to following the characters further – disappointed from Leeds, England
Freeform, you suck!!! This isn’t the 1st time you’ve cancelled one of your best shows. I’m done watching anything on freeform! There’s my permanent rating of you. 0 stars!
