What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on Syfy, Blood Drive stars Alan Ritchson, Christina Ochoa, Thomas Dominique, Colin Cunningham, Marama Corlett, and Darren Kent. The dystopian sci-fi TV series centers on Arthur Bailey (Ritchson), one of the last upright cops in Los Angeles, who is pulled into an underground cross-country race, in cars which run on blood.
Arthur partners with sweet looking “femme fatale” Grace D’Argento (Ochoa) who will do anything — kill anyone — to win. Grace is in the race for the cash prize, so she can save her sister and change their lives. Julian Slink (Cunningham) is evil incarnate as well as the mastermind behind Blood Drive. This natural showman craves the limelight. He never shies away from sinking his competition, even if he must murder them to shine.
Season One Ratings

Telly’s Take
Blood, blood everywhere, nor any drop to drink. Although it premiered with solid ratings for a Syfy TV series, the numbers have been dropping. While the numbers aren’t strong, I believe Blood Drive will still be renewed for season two on Syfy. Even though I consider this new drama the cruelest of food porn, I’ll keep a famished eye on the news and will keep you updated. I really hate movie makers now and TV show makers because they’re constantly canceling shows or second half the movies that either the show or the movie desperately needs to finish From now on I’m looking into the TV show before I start watching so I don’t waste my time waiting for a season 2 just to have them cancel for no good reason

My husband and I got so hooked, we watched the whole season in one night. We both want to scream at whom ever was dumb enough to cancel blood drive. They pissed off a LOT of people.
I absolutely loved blood drive – and so did my friends and family !! I’m absolutely gutted it had been cancelled and the moment I saw episode 1 & 2 the first thing I said was WOW, this is before it’s time for the rest of get public… I however and I’m sure many other Syfi horror people would have loved it and be gutted … I need more of this show, it’s funny it’s extra witty and you start to love ALL the characters … I feel as though it’s like buffy vampire slayer programme which took a while… Read more »
Let’s boycott the Syfy channel, and never watch their station again. They keep doing this all the time. They bring a great show on for one season and never end it right and cancel it. Everyone get together and keep telling the public to stop watching the Syfy channel. I just started watching syfy again after 10 years. Because I was so angry the way they ended my other shows that I loved. I’m never watching Syfy again. I said that 10 years ago, but now it’s true. Never Again will I watch another Syfy show again.

At least it didn’t end with a major cliffhanger like it often does with cancelled series. Although i would really love to see season 2 i don’t see the posibilities to continue the story of Blood DRIVE on prison island.
How when Barbie is the only one left alive. It won’t be the same with just his character.
I hope Blood Drive finds a way to come back. Maybe they can do a “prison break” for next season but gotta have Grace too!
