What’s This TV Show About?
A CBS police procedural, Blue Bloods stars Tom Selleck, Donnie Wahlberg, Bridget Moynahan, Will Estes, Len Cariou, Marisa Ramirez, Sami Gayle, and Vanessa Ray. The family drama centers on the Irish-American Reagans, a multi-generational clan of cops dedicated to New York City law enforcement. New York Police Commissioner Frank Reagan (Selleck) leads both the police force and his brood.
Season Nine Ratings
The ninth season of Blue Bloods averaged a 0.79 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 8.43 million viewers. Compared to season eight, that’s down by 13% and 7%, respectively. Find out how Blue Bloods stacks up against the other CBS TV shows.

Will CBS cancel or renew Blue Bloods for season 10? The numbers are down once again but the ratings are still pretty good for a Friday night series on CBS. Sooner or later though, it’s going to end and I’ll have my feast. For now, I’ll keep an eye on the Nielsens and will update this page with breaking developments. We have loved watching the show for many years but I think they need to address the drinking on the show. It sets a very bad example for people. The actors never set down to talk or to dinner without an alcoholic drink in their hands. Please keep showing Blue Bloods but without so much drinking.
We love this show. We would be very upset if it is ever cancelled. One of the few family shows left to watch
In my humble opinion,Blue Bloods should remain on the tube for awhile yet. If and when it must be cancelled, it should go out with a positive final show. There’s nothing to dislike.
We love this show. One of our favorites. Great family values. Not any other show has family dinners and talks like this one does. That’s how we were raised and our kids and grandkids. Leave it on as long as you can. Great show!!!
