Bones is getting ready for its ending after 12 seasons, and fans have been wondering if Booth and Brennan will have a happy ending. Will the couple walk off into the sunset together?
Fans of the FOX series have nothing to worry about! Michael Peterson said the following about the two-part series finale to TV Line:
“After watching 67 episodes, my wife asked if [series creator] Hart [Hanson] was a hippie, because everything worked out. [For example, when] Wendell slept with Angela, Hodgins got along with Wendell by the end of the episode. Things work out. Hart’s very much a ‘people ride off into the sunset’ kind of guy, he’s an optimist, and we wanted to infuse that into the finale. We wanted to have them go through hell, but at the end, we want them to ride off.”

This is one of my favorite shows and I have watched it since it’s premiere airing. Am so very disappointed to see it end. I would have continued to watch it, but if kids, i.e., young adults don’t watch a show, it gets cancelled. I did read last year that Boreanaz wanted out, so maybe the series end was his doing. Too bad. Only good thing is now I am done with Fox shows.

I am really upset that the show is ending. This is my favorite show better then any old soap opera.I have been watching from the very first day. Now put it back on please
I am really unhappy that this series is ending. It is the highlight of my week when you are on limited income there isn’t much that you can do for entertainment but this has definently been a highlight
I am so sad!! They are tearing my world apart again! Everytime you get a team of super cast and a totally bonded atmoshere with drop dead fabulous stories, they take it off! I have been a fan of David’s since Buffy, and Hudgens also, and every single cast member has become central to the success of this wonderful show. No, a happy ending doesn’t make me happy that the show is ending. Better than a cliff hanger ending or bad ending but the show is still going to be gone. Love this show & the books which spawned it.
VERY SAD I, really thought the show would go on, it made me go to watch every episode until now,
I’m sadden to hear Bones is ending. This is my most favorite show, never missed an episode and still watch re-runs. Maybe the creator/ director can find a way to keep the show going or bring it back after a short break. Love Bones and Booth, as well as the rest of the cast. Die hard fan

Yes I am sad to see the show end & yes I also want them to end up together & happy. However, with their individual skill sets it is hard to imagine them both giving up their careers as there aren’t that many places that would challenge her. Have enjoyed her making progress on understanding human emotions and fitting in better to society as a whole, though she does still get some zinger comments in.
