Have you been watching The Brave TV show? Do you think NBC should renew the freshman television series for a second season or not?
The military drama centers on Captain Adam Dalton (Mike Vogel) who leads his Special Ops squad on dangerous field missions across the globe. The cast also includes Anne Heche, Natacha Karam, Demetrius Grosse, Noah Mills, Hadi Tabbal, Tate Ellington, and Sofia Pernas.
Despite following The Voice, The Brave‘s first season hasn’t been performing all that well in the ratings. So far, season one is averaging a 1.03 rating in the 18-49 demo and 5.093 million viewers, making it one of NBC’s lowest-rated series for the 2017-2018 season.
However, it seems the series does have a passionate following. Fans have given The Brave a 9.53/10 rating in our Viewer Votes feature.
Some believe that The Brave has already been cancelled because NBC did not order additional episodes to give the military drama a full first season. However, Deadline reports that season one was intended to have just 13 episodes.
While the ratings have not been good, the official word from NBC is that The Brave is still in the running for a second season. There are four episodes left to air and the series returns on Monday, January 8th. The ratings for those episodes will likely carry a lot of weight when the NBC execs decide if they want to take a chance on a second season.

I think the show has good writing and
production value. The story lines have been exciting and the character development has been engaging. We have grown to care about the people.

This is a fascinating show where they are not afraid to tackle complicated situations. I love the well balanced tension and the play of characters that we get to discover gradually more. Among all of the new shows of this season, this is my favorite. I really hope it comes back for a second season and more.
I absolutely love this show. It is 1000 times better than Valor or Seal Team.
This show is so much more realistic than Valor or SEAL. Not mention the ridiculousness of SWAT. I would be heartbroken to lose The Brave.
The show doesn’t get the ratings they want, but I wonder how many people such as myself haven’t been able to watch it the night it airs and have to rely on the Internet to watch it later? Do they take that into consideration? The Brave is an amazing show with a top-notch cast! It should absolutely be renewed for season 2, and many more!
Please save The Brave. Great actors, excellent stories, and exciting action. The is a lot of junk on television and I believe when more people discover this show the ratings will improve. It would be a shame to lose this show.
I love the Brave and sincerely hope they continue it on. We watch it every time and truly enjoy it. We are also squarely in the 18-49 demographic as well. Smart, witty show with great, diverse and intelligent characters.
The Brave is one of the best dramas on TV. So much mediocre tv exists and a superb drama comes along and it should be allowed to breathe

My husband is retired military. I worked with the military for 20 years. This show is the real deal. Aside from superior acting by this incredible cast, the language, body movement, weapons handling are all spot on. This show always has excitement and heart pounding action. Wonderful show. Please do not cancel it despite the ratings. NBC needs to listen to its viewers and not some outdated ratings system.
