Michael Weatherly had a long and successful run on NCIS but left the series last season. He’s back on CBS in his own series called Bull. Will it also be a ratings success? Cancelled or renewed for season two? Stay tuned.
Inspired by the early career of Doctor Phil McGraw, the Bull TV show revolves around the brash and charming Doctor Jason Bull (Michael Weatherly). He combines psychology, human intuition, and high-tech data to learn what makes jurors, attorneys, witnesses and the accused tick. His team members are played by Freddy Rodriguez, Geneva Carr, Jaime Lee Kirchner, Annabelle Attanasio, and Christopher Jackson.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — typically around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
3/23 update: Bull has been renewed for season two on CBS. Details here.
5/24 update: You can see the rest of the latest night’s ratings.
Note: If you’re not seeing the updated chart, please try reloading the page or view it here.
Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.
What do you think? Do you like the Bull TV show on CBS? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for second season?
Love the show ..miss him greatly on NCIS but glad he is still in air
I think it is a very ordinary show will not watch again
Please renew to second season I love the series Bull and I love Michael Wetherly and the rest of the crue please please please continue series to season 2
Please renew. I love the show.
I love Bull. It should be continued
loved this show – not many better
I love this show. A friend and I watch every episode. Better than NCIS. Well put together. More real than many.
About one of the TV shows that my husband and I watch together, it’s a great show no violence, cussing, no men with men, or women with women for that matter, also it’s just a court room drama cases being solved you can take and apply it to reality in real court cases, it’s not fantasy!!
I am enjoying this show and am pleased it has been given another season. I think some of the more negative comments might perhaps be a little hasty? It is always hard for a brand new show to hit the ground running and character development takes a little time. In playing Jason Bull, MW plays a completely different character to Tony DiNozzo in NCIS – as he said himself the character had run its course and why wouldn’t he want to do something different? I would like to see more multi-episode stories and I think that is what we are… Read more »
I love the show. I know half of what they do is illegal, but it’s fun to watch. I just wish they could give Geneva a different wardrobe. The clothes look painful.
I watched Bull, of course, because I loved DiNozzo. Bull is not supposed to.be DiNozzo, I get that. Bull is so dull to listen to with that whispery voice and his experiences unbelievable that I can hardly bear to watch. Yes, there are people who do that job. I doubt that they tell the attorney their entire script. I doubt they solve the case. I doubt they know exactly what each juroris tthinking at every moment. Dr Phil is full enough of himself to think so, but I don’t buy it.
I think “Bull” hasn’t be evert third show has been given a chance its first season. Seems like every third show has been a rerun. Wish I knew why CBS is doing that.
I think the fact that a beautiful stream was just polluted by a piece of computer equipment with toxic chemicals in it is absolutely careless and this show just lost my vote!
I love Michael Weatherly but just cannot watch it anymore with that Marissa girl. He needs to lose her.
Give BULL a second chance. If you do not, send him back to NCIS
