NBC has decided to pre-empt Chase once again but this time it’s looking a lot more permanent. The network has put the TV series on hiatus and replaced it with episodes of Minute to Win It. Though the network has not officially cancelled Chase, there’s certainly no compelling reason for NBC to bring it back.
Back in September, Chase debuted to mediocre ratings and things went quickly downhill from there. On Monday nights, Chase averaged just a 1.5 rating in the 18-49 demographic and a meager 5.44 million viewers. When the series moved to Wednesday nights for the new year, the ratings only got worse. It’s currently the lowest-rated scripted series on the network.
NBC pre-empted Chase this week and replaced it with a double dose of Minute to Win It. That move paid off with the game show literally doubling the demo performance of Chase’s last original episode. Not surprisingly, NBC has now bumped the remaining episodes of Chase from the schedule.
The peacock network had given the show a full season order back in October but by December had trimmed that back from 22 to 18 installments. There are currently five unaired episodes of Chase on the shelf and there’s no word from NBC on when or if they’ll ever be aired.

I can’t believe Chase is being cancelled – it makes me and my husband not want to watch ANYTHING NBC airs!!! We hate Minute To Win it!! Canceling Chase is a very stupid move on their part!
The reason it wasn’t a hit is because just like always the idiots who make the decisions about these things did their normal moron moves. Put it on at one time for a couple weeks, change the time, change the day’s oh wait pre-empt it and then say oh we can’t understand why it got such low ratings. Really are you serious? It might be nice if they would use their heads for the amount of money they make.
I love this show. I’m so tiers of this stupid reality shows, singing shows, etc. This is actually a great show w/ a great storyline. NBC needs to give this show another chance.

Me and my husband love this show. Every good show we get into ends up cancelled. This is getting really old. Everyone doesn`t want to watch reality shows all the time. DON`T CANCEL PLEASE!
I love this show, I can’t believe it wasn’t a hit. I love all the characters and the suspense of the show. I’m so sad to see it go!
I can’t believe they cancelled the show. It is a great story line with great characters. Why do you have a picture from the show involving Marshalls instead of a picture from Chase?

Give this show a chance. Good scripts, good acting. Characters that are easy to like.
I can’t believe that Chase has been cancelled. This is a show that we watched as a family and my sons liked that it was filmed in Texas. Guess since we don’t watch reality tv, we will no longer have our television tuned to NBC.

I love Chase!!! NBC is crazy for cancelling it! I agree with chanel, I’m so sick of all the stupid meaningless reality shows that have absolutely no redeeming value whatsoever!!! Chase is a great show with great characters and storylines!
really enjoyed this tv show Chase- the acting was good, i do like Cole Hauser, and Kelly as well. Hoe it come back soon!

I love Chase! and I agree with everyone else NBC is idots for canceling a good show before it has time to grow. Reality TV is annoying.
I can’t believe another show that I like is being cancelled. I am so tired of
game shows and reality TV. Please reconsider this cancellation. I even
record the episodes in case I am not home to watch.
