NBC has decided to pre-empt Chase once again but this time it’s looking a lot more permanent. The network has put the TV series on hiatus and replaced it with episodes of Minute to Win It. Though the network has not officially cancelled Chase, there’s certainly no compelling reason for NBC to bring it back.
Back in September, Chase debuted to mediocre ratings and things went quickly downhill from there. On Monday nights, Chase averaged just a 1.5 rating in the 18-49 demographic and a meager 5.44 million viewers. When the series moved to Wednesday nights for the new year, the ratings only got worse. It’s currently the lowest-rated scripted series on the network.
NBC pre-empted Chase this week and replaced it with a double dose of Minute to Win It. That move paid off with the game show literally doubling the demo performance of Chase’s last original episode. Not surprisingly, NBC has now bumped the remaining episodes of Chase from the schedule.
The peacock network had given the show a full season order back in October but by December had trimmed that back from 22 to 18 installments. There are currently five unaired episodes of Chase on the shelf and there’s no word from NBC on when or if they’ll ever be aired.

I want chase back. All these stupid games shows n reality tv suck. The ratings go down because they keep changing the times and are never consistant. Bring it back! Or let anothr channel pick it up!

Chase- Bring it back it was an awesome show. We all watched it at our house. I agree all the shows we liked from last year got cancelled. This is getting ridicuious.
My wife and I loved the show! It was one of our favorites and since we live in the Houston area it made it even better or us! Please bring it back!
I really liked the show. It was action packed and had a good story line. I don’t know why it didn’t have more viewers, I liked it. I hope it comes back, at least shows the remaining episodes.
I’m very disappointed! I loved the show and dvr’ed it. Perhaps the ratings don’t account for those of us watching at times other than the original air time. What about her dad? What about the budding romance? I don’t really watch anything else on NBC. What else do they really have worth watching? I hope that they reconsider this decision and bring it back. We will wait, but we won’t wait forever. Bring it back soon!
may husband and i both love chase. i can’t figure out why everyone doesn’t like the show. i surely that the network reconciders the fate of the show. we have been waiting for the new season to start. now we see anni on law and order. we like all the characters on the show.

Loved the show. Can’t believe they dumped for Minute to Win IT! That is the dumbest show on TV!! Guess that speaks for the American Public mentality these days.
Get rid of the reality shows!!!!! They suck big time…When a show like Chase gets cancelled it is very frustrating especially when it is replaced with idiots doing stupid stunts just for a fast buck….

BRING IT BACK! We LOVED this show!!! Stupid networks take away these shows that are fabulous and replace with shows like Wipe-Out?! I wouldn’t watch that if it were the only thing on!
Can’t believe they leave all the garbage on TV and take shows like Chase off. I looked forward to watching it every week and it’s one of the few shows I take time to watch. Bad move, NBC.
I really liked Chase, I watched it every time it was on. This really stinks that they have cancalled the show, I seen that the main charater is now on Law & Order SVU. Seems like all the good shows get taken off, and more Reality shows are being put on the air. I say enough with all the Reality shows and put better shows like CHASE back on !!CHASE will Greatly missed 🙁 !
Why do all the ones I like get cancelled? I hate unresolved story lines! Iwish there was a way to the see the five episodes in the can still.
