A Hallmark Channel Canadian-American drama, the Chesapeake Shores TV series stars Meghan Ory, Treat Williams, Diane Ladd, Robert Buckley, Barbara Niven, Laci J. Mailey, Emilie Ullerup, Brendan Penny, and Andrew Francis. Jesse Metcalfe guests. The store explores the lives of the O’Brien family, after the homecoming of eldest daughter Abby O’Brien (Ory), a high-powered career woman and divorced mother of two. Over the past few seasons, Abby has leaned on her family to strike a balance between her professional and personal lives. This season will see her coming into her own as her father Mick’s (Williams) new business partner and facing a new challenge when successful and eccentric entrepreneur Evan McKenzie (Buckley) brings a new development project into town.

Too bad Jesse Metcalf has moved on. However, his choice to leave a great show. The new actors are very interesting and I for one still enjoy this series. I will continue to watch this show for as long as it is produced. I like Metcalf but his departure will not stop me from tuning in!
DID WATCH CHEASKPEAK SHORES 5TH SERSON. I DIDN’T LIKE THAT TRACE AND ABBY WAS NO MORE. ALL NEW CHARACTERS NOT BRING ANYTHING TO THE SHOW.
Couldn’t disagree more – Evan was a breath of fresh air as was Luke Tatum. The show had some wit this year! We loved Season 5

Please bring season 6 of Chesapeake Shores then season 7 and on and on and on. Love this show and the familiar content of it. Awesome actors and Evan and Abby story is adorable. Treat Williams is awesome! Really the whole group are such great actors that you have to bring it back- PLEASE!!!

I watch every week and many of my friends watch as well. Chesapeake Shores is a well written and enjoyable show!

Yes please a season 6! It’s hard to find good shows for my girls and I to watch together. We all snuggle up and are glued to the screen anticipating each episode!

I have watched and loved Chesapeake Shores for the four previous seasons. When the writers for this series or maybe it was the showrunner, decided to cut out half the heart of the show (which was a big part of what the series was about for four years running), Jesse Melcalfe (the character Trace Riley) decided to bow out gracefully and I can’t blame him. Please do not cancel. There aren’t enough clean shows to watch where you can get into the characters!
