TNT Renews Fan-Favorite Drama Claws for a Fourth and Final Season
October 1, 2019 – TNT will be wrapping up its hit drama Claws with a fourth and final season. Since its launch in 2017, the series has won critical praise and a loyal fan following. Viewers have responded to the queenly rise of Desna Simms (Niecy Nash), who, alongside her crew of manicurists from the Nail Artisans of Manatee County salon, rises to power in the crime world to claim her share of cash and respect.
“For the past three seasons, Claws has handled delicate and culturally relevant themes like race, class, gender, age and sexual orientation with grace and humor via superb storytelling,” said Brett Weitz, General Manager for TNT, TBS, & truTV. “Fans cherish the over-the-top Clawsian moments that have defined its run, and we will do them justice as we wrap up the tale of Desna and her crew.”
The series and cast have earned overwhelming critical praise, with the Los Angeles Times declaring “…Claws is the perfect show for our time.” Vanity Fair labeled Claws the “perfect match for any summer day, while Vulture heralded the show as an “uproarious, emotionally moving ode to women’s quests for autonomy.”

What do you think? Do you like the Claws TV show? Will you watch season four? Do you think the series should be ending or renewed for a fifth season?
Hi Claws should be renewed for eight more seasons.
It should be renewed for 10 more seasons.
I think that claws is a awesome TV show and dean Norris is so sexy and handsome, I would definitely date him in a instant. And I think it’s a very big mistake to cancel such a great TV show. Women need their soaps, just like men need men need their own shows. Please don’t take this show off the air. Thank you.
I agree
Love the show- it’s of course dramatic but in so many ways addresses real issues. They are insidious in our culture and this show makes it less so- to me that’s a big plus. Plus, the cast and especially the lead is fabulous. If you can’t get into this show your must be over 60 And/or really really conservative. I’m not trying to be ageist. I Just know my mom and her friends reaction to the ads would be negative when it’s actually an excellent show. (I also have conservative friends and I’m not slamming anyone but it’s so much… Read more »
Please don’t cancel Claws! I have been missing this show, especially with Covid-19 shutting everything down. This show was pure entertainment and had me on the edge of my seat cheering the ladies of Nail Artisans of Manatee County salon on!
Yes i watch & enjoy it. I would like to see it renewed.
I really enjoyed this series. I think it’s funny and dramatic at the same time. I will most definitely watch the fourth and final season I really wish it was an ending even if it was one more season would make a big difference.
WHY has this wonderful show been cancelled? Nothing is said about the reason, or reasons. With all the accolades for script, actors (with Emmys, no less!), storyline, and from fans and critics alike, surely there is an explanation, at least, right?
I loved Claws . Please don’t take it off. They need to take off the Bull S_ _ _ reality shows.
Ditto, I’m with you, Linda. They can keep their so-called reality shows. Give me a well written/acted, thoughtful drama any day. Also, of almost any sit-com I give a chance, if they add a laugh track, it usually turns out to be inane humor or insulting to my intelligence.
Love Claws its drama
This show needs to continue
Definitely renewed for several seasons. What was wrong with the show? Nothing, perfect cast, story lines, acting was superb, can someone explain why this fantastic show has been cancelled.
Love claws always uplifting and funny what the world needs now. Would like to see another 4 seasons More very different drama we all need something more into the world of the current pace of life. Please go on with claws.
Well all I can say at least there is SEASON 4 SHOULD BE MORE,MORE,MORE MAY BE ADD SOME NEW WRITERS And KICK IT UP A NOTCH
