Can Hayes Morrison restore her own integrity in season one of ABC’s Conviction TV show? An ABC legal drama, Conviction stars Hayley Atwell, Eddie Cahill, Shawn Ashmore, Merrin Dungey, Emily Kinney, Manny Montana, and Daniel Franzese. After a cocaine bust, attorney Hayes Morrison (Atwell) is “blackmailed” into joining the Conviction Integrity Unit. It’s an NYC department that re-examines cases when there is suspicion of wrongful conviction. Because she’s the daughter of a former US President, Hayes agrees to the deal, to spare her family embarrassment.

I very much liked this show and have no idea why they cancelled it. ABC has few noteworthy shows and I thought they would renew it. Imagine my surprise when they cancelled it!
