Cowboy Bebop is coming back in a big way. Deadline reports Netflix has ordered a live-action remake of the anime TV show.
The original series debuted in Japan in 1998 and follows “a rag-tag crew of bounty hunters on the run from their pasts as they hunt down the solar system’s most dangerous criminals.” The show has spawned at least two manga series, video games, and an anime film.
Netflix has ordered 10 episodes of Cowboy Bebop. A premiere date has not yet been announced.
