What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the CBS television network, Criminal Minds stars Joe Mantegna, Paget Brewster, Matthew Gray Gubler, A.J. Cook, Kirsten Vangsness, Adam Rodriguez, Daniel Henney, and Aisha Tyler. This season, Shemar Moore guest stars. The series follows the FBI’s elite Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) out of Quantico, Virginia. The BAU remains dedicated to understanding predators’ motive and triggers, in order to stop them before they strike again.
Season 13 Ratings
The 13th season of Criminal Minds averaged a 0.99 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 5.73 million viewers. Compared to season 12, that’s down by 29% and down by 23%, respectively. Find out how Criminal Minds stacks up against the other CBS TV shows.

Telly’s Take
Although the ratings slipped some last season, CBS still renewed Criminal Minds for a 13th season. It premiered with lower numbers than last season and the ratings have dropped quite a bit lower. To be honest, I think this show’s fate will all come down to money and contracts. I suspect that there will be a 14th and final season. I’ll update this page with any updates. Even without Hotch and Derek, the show is better than all the others. The writing is still fresh and the actors are like quite talented.
I want it renewed but am very upset about Hotchner and Morgan. Especially Hotch since he didn’t choose to leave.
I would be so upset if they canceled it. I have been watching this show for years and haven’t always been happy with the changes they have made, but I have stuck around. There are so few primetime shows I watch that I really enjoy and I would be very disappointed if this was canceled.
I love criminal minds but sometimes the over dramatic plot is too much. like with the whole assistant director trying to disband everyone and so forth. I do like the characters a lot and also wish they would bring back hotch and am happy Derek is still part of the show from time to time but it would be better if he were there full time again. Some fun drama here and there with the characters is cool but constantly having someone shot, kidnapped (and tortured), or suspended/fired is annoying. Please renew this show for a fourteenth season and a fifteenth season please don’t cancel it! every Wednesday night I’m always excited for a new episode please renew it for two more seasons please.
Criminal minds is one of the few shows I still watch on prime time tv. I love the show and would be terribly upset if the show was cancelled. Also, it is one of the few shows that doesn’t have foul language or sexual inuendo in it. Sooooo CBS, please don’t cancel this program! I am an elderly female and I realize that your ratings don’t count for us. But…..we are strong in numbers and watch a lot of television!!!!

i would be devastated if they cancelled it i barely watch tv but i love this show
they had gotten rid of the other criminal minds..then all of the CSI’s…..they best not get rid of the original Criminal Minds….I’m already heartbroken that Shemar Moore left, please keep this show!!!!
I hope criminal mind is renewed. The show is very entertaining and after all these years the characters seem like friends.
