What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the CBS television network, Criminal Minds stars Joe Mantegna, Paget Brewster, Matthew Gray Gubler, A.J. Cook, Kirsten Vangsness, Adam Rodriguez, Daniel Henney, and Aisha Tyler. This season, Shemar Moore guest stars. The series follows the FBI’s elite Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) out of Quantico, Virginia. The BAU remains dedicated to understanding predators’ motive and triggers, in order to stop them before they strike again.
Season 13 Ratings
The 13th season of Criminal Minds averaged a 0.99 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 5.73 million viewers. Compared to season 12, that’s down by 29% and down by 23%, respectively. Find out how Criminal Minds stacks up against the other CBS TV shows.

Telly’s Take
Although the ratings slipped some last season, CBS still renewed Criminal Minds for a 13th season. It premiered with lower numbers than last season and the ratings have dropped quite a bit lower. To be honest, I think this show’s fate will all come down to money and contracts. I suspect that there will be a 14th and final season. I’ll update this page with any updates. CM SHOULD COME BACK! I realize ratings matter and the cast changes have hurt it but at least give us a farewell season! I love this show and compared to what has been renewed it’s actually pretty sickening plus I can’t live with my Spencer!
I will really be upset if criminal minds gets cancelled. I really like this show. Only show I watch on weekly basis.

I love criminal minds and have been watching since the beginning. We need a petition of all CM fans to stop any thoughts of cancelling the show. It’s always different week in week out. Don’t take it away from us xx
I love Criminal Minds❤️ I have been watching this show since season 1. I love the dynamics of the show, the writers are awesome. I hope and pray for the renewal for season 14
I would love for a renewal. Even with the release of some characters, they keep the stories moving smoothly. I miss the ones gone, but still enjoy the new characters and the chemistry amongst the crew.
Please cancel! Between getting rid of Thomas Gibson, poor writing, bad chemistry between the rest of the cast, stupid story lines, the ratings have tanked. And while I own the DVD box sets of the first eleven seasons, I don’t even consider seasons 12 and 13 part of the series, as the show is now just a shadow of what it was in its prime. Unless by some miracle they were to come to their senses and bring Gibson back, it’s better to just kill it now.
Please please don’t cancel this show I watch it daily. And weekly. It’s has so much commitment from the cast and there is a moral thematic statement in every episode. Please please don’t cancel the best show ever created on cbs !
I absolutely adore criminal minds. Favourite characters are Garcia and Spencer. My only complaint is they are writing too much politics into it. Yes I would love to see Hotch return and I really miss Derek but all I want is to see Season 14. Us Brits love Criminal minds x x x x
CM writers need to go learn from the first 5 seasons, and learn to write that way. Too bad they tend to follow the whims of the political scene, get free and write AGAIN, PLEASE, I love the old show but today it SUCKS. Bring back TG or cancel.
Netflix has lost so many good shows, I’d hate to see this one go, as well.
C’mon Netflix – hang on to your subscriber base (and we’re not all age 25 or lower)….
Please keep this show, with Rossi and the rest of the current Cast for at least another 2 seasons. That Crazy lady who is now in charge of the team and is trying to split them up needs to go!
If this show is going to survive, you need an actor/actress – better yet 2 of them who can anchor the show in a fashion that would make Hotchner proud. Judging by the ratings, they are not there yet and if they can’t fix that – then Season 14 is highly doubtful. One thing that dictates the longevity of a show these days as much as the quality of the storytelling is the quality of the cast.
