What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the CBS television network, Criminal Minds stars Joe Mantegna, Paget Brewster, Matthew Gray Gubler, A.J. Cook, Kirsten Vangsness, Adam Rodriguez, Daniel Henney, and Aisha Tyler. This season, Shemar Moore guest stars. The series follows the FBI’s elite Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) out of Quantico, Virginia. The BAU remains dedicated to understanding predators’ motive and triggers, in order to stop them before they strike again.
Season 13 Ratings
The 13th season of Criminal Minds averaged a 0.99 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 5.73 million viewers. Compared to season 12, that’s down by 29% and down by 23%, respectively. Find out how Criminal Minds stacks up against the other CBS TV shows.

Telly’s Take
Although the ratings slipped some last season, CBS still renewed Criminal Minds for a 13th season. It premiered with lower numbers than last season and the ratings have dropped quite a bit lower. To be honest, I think this show’s fate will all come down to money and contracts. I suspect that there will be a 14th and final season. I’ll update this page with any updates. I truly believe the reason the rating have dropped are due to the show’s sporadic schedule. Sometimes the show is not on for two weeks in a row …people assume the season has concluded. I love the show…hope it is not cancelled.
Really need more Criminal Minds!!!! Love this show. Also we need MORE Spencer Reed. There are only 4 orginal members left. I enjoy each actor/actress but Reed is my favorite. I adore his character. Emily and JJ are amazing and Penelope is special. The only thing I miss is the most wonderful relationship with Shemar Moore. As much as I love her she really needs better connection with someone on the team. It’s like she is a bit lost.
Please, please, please don’t cancel. It is one of my favorites. I own discs of every season and never tire of watching them.
The problem with this show is the fact it isn’t shown every week because it’s off for holidays and some weeks it isn’t on. I hope they make a season 14 because I love this show.

I will b super pissed if there’s no season 14 u ant just leave off on Garcia being kidnapped n not at least finish the story I kno as long as its on tv ill b watching it

I really hope it’s renewed. It’s one of my favorites.
I’m in Canada and we just got to see the season finale here which is scheduled for viewing in the U.S. next week on April 25th. There was a huge cliffhanger so my first thought is, yes, it will be back.
I’m curious though, has anyone seen a reason why Reid’s character missed so many episodes? I understand the story line reasoning, but was wondering if Matthew Gray Gubler had fewer episodes written into his contract? Or, was he doing another project? Just curious.
I too would like to see Gibson back but don’t think it will happen.
ALL dramatic TV shows now end every season on a cliffhanger because the networks don’t give a s*** about their fans. Cliffhanger or not, they’ll still cancel a show at the drop of a hat.
I truly have missed him this season. I hope in season 14 he is in more.

Please don’t Cancel CriminalMinds it has been my favorite show since day 1. Please keep the Character’s that are on there now. But I would like to see Thomas Gibson come back. Thank you.
