The fat lady is finally warming up for the fine folks at the BAU. CBS has announced it has renewed the long-running Criminal Minds TV show for a 15th and final season. As of now the plan is for the final season to consist of just 10 episodes, which will cap the series off with an impressive total of 325. Variety reports they will shoot, “back to back” with the 14th season, which is currently in production.
A CBS law enforcement procedural, Criminal Minds stars Joe Mantegna, Paget Brewster, Matthew Gray Gubler, A.J. Cook, Kirsten Vangsness, Adam Rodriguez, Daniel Henney, and Aisha Tyler. The crime drama follows the FBI’s elite Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) out of Quantico, Virginia. The BAU remains dedicated to understanding predators’ motive and triggers, in order to stop them before they strike again.
Criminal Minds: A Look at the Ratings
The 14th season of Criminal Minds is averaging a 0.75 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 4.68 million viewers. Compared to season 13, that’s down by 24% and 18%, respectively. Find out how Criminal Minds stacks up against the other CBS TV shows.

The show has also not been without controversy during its run. Most recently, Variety exclusively reported that the show’s long-time director of photography, Greg St. Johns, had faced multiple accusations of abusive behavior and sexual harassment towards crew members. St. Johns has since left the production. Prior to that, series star Thomas Gibson was fired from the show after an on-set altercation with a producer.

I love this show. Hated to see Shamar Moore leave but it stood it’s ground. Then Gibson fired…standing but shakey…but with others leaving it is getting weak…but it is a good show. New story lines…new relationship interests..I think it can weather the storm
I am a loyal Criminal Minds fan and I love it. I hated to see Shemar Moore leave and I really thought he would come back after Hodge left but that never happened. I think the show needs to go on and just remain as interesting as the previous seasons have been. Baby Girl is one that definitely needs to stay so do what you can to keep her. I also love the rest of the crew members and I feel like they would be willing to keep going. Criminal Minds has to stay so plz don’t cancel it
I love this show and really wish you would reconsider cancelling it. Can you do anything as viewers to change the decision? Every episode is exciting and the cast is outstanding. They have become like family to us viewers. They surely will be missed!

Where’s my show Criminal Minds? I really wish they’d let fan know what’s going on. I’ve watched this show since the beginning.
NCIS, LA they do the same thing with, I’m getting very disgusted trying to find a decent show to watch. Most are soap operas, games or athletic challenges, people making fools of themselves.
Some of us like to watch some action without all the drama and forget about real life for an hour.
If they take my shows off the air I’m canceling my subscription to CBS.
There is still more stories for Criminal Minds. It’s rare to find a show with chemistry between the characters & the “family” scenes are inspirational- Will should be in more.

Such a great show,with great episodes and story lines and with such great cast that gets along so well….
I love the show I love JJ weed and I do not like Emily the show has done nothing but downhill send you added her if you fire her and get someone else I will continue to watch the show but there’s no action no adventure no going out with them anymore like the old days and am so if you do that I will watch the show
I love Criminal Minds. The ratings are good. Why cancel it?
PLEASE don’t cancel this terrific, highly rated show! CM and NCIS are our favorite two shows right from the beginning. Every year they take away quality shows and replace them with stupid shows.
