Irish actor and Ripper Street vet Killian Scott has been cast in the Damnation TV show pilot for USA Network. The drama stars Logan Marshall-Green as mercenary Creeley Turner. Per THR, Scott is replacing Rectify‘s Aden Young, who “abruptly” left the project, reportedly over creative differences. Production began this past Monday.

Damnation is described as as “an epic saga of the secret history of the 1930s American heartland.” It features the struggle between the wealthy and impoverished during The Great Depression. Scott plays Seth Davenport, “…a man with a violent past and a secret ambition to lead a revolution against American industrialists.” The cast also includes Sarah Jones, Chasten Harmon, Christopher Heyerdahl, and Melinda Page Hamilton.
