The CW has a new legend. Deadline reports Nick Zano has been cast in season two of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.

The superhero drama follows a group of DC heroes trying to stop the villain Vandal Savage (Casper Crump) from destroying humanity. The cast includes Arthur Darvill, Brandon Routh, Caity Lotz, Victor Garber, and Franz Drameh.

Zano will play “Dr. Nate Heywood, a historian whose grandfather was Commander Steel, a member of the Justice Society of America.” Season two of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow premieres on October 13th at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
