TV show description:
From creator Chris Fedak, the Deception TV show centers on illusionist Cameron Black (Cutmore-Scott). With big shows in Vegas and New York, this magician is rocketing to the top, when scandal derails his show and his drive.
Unbeknownst to the world, Cameron has a twin brother, Jonathan (Cutmore-Scott), who is integral to both his magic and his life. Then one night, Jonathan is framed for murder. Soon, their secret is revealed, and Jonathan is convicted. Cameron is certain another illusionist is behind the crime.
With his career on hold and his mind overwhelmed by guilt and the desire to exonerate his brother, Cameron won’t even work with his team to develop a new act. One day though, while watching the news, he realizes that the FBI has been deceived by an illusionist, and whoever it was stole one of his signature moves. Now, Cameron is using his tradecraft to help the Feds apprehend some of the most elusive criminals in the world and hopes to prove his brother is an innocent man.

It would seem that the studios have no concept as to what the public really likes, and appears to be motivated by an incoherent logic that we like the same plots, repeats, old shows that never die with the same tired, predictable storylines.
I am so disappointed that you are canceling this show. It was clever and our favorite. No rhyme to this reason if you ask me except lazy marketing.
Brilliant and different show. Disgusted that it has been axed. Thought it one of the best new shows.
Yes, it should have been renewed. Sort of Mission Impossible with a little humor. A lot better than other shows that were renewed, like Instinct.
Bring it back. I love the show! Every episode got better as time went on. There are many other stupid shows that should be canceled.

NO NO NO!!!! You can’t cancel this show! We have recorded it religiously to keep up with the amazing saga. We even binged watched to help our friends catch up with us and now they are addicted to it too!!!! You must continue the show!!!
Wonderful show. It is hard to believe it will not be renewed. The illusions were so exciting to watch. Great cast. I looked forward to it every Sunday night.

Deception, Scorpion, Code Black are outstanding shows. With all of the garbage on television these days, why in the world would ABC cancel these shows. They need to change their head staff before ABC falls completely. Such a bad move of ABC’s part to cancel these great shows. Time to look to other channels for shows to watch.
How can you cancel a show with so many cliff-hangers?! 1. Leaving the Cameron-Kay chemistry hanging in mid-air. 2. Not knowing what will happen between the twins. 3. Did Jonathan do this just for himself or did he truly think he would have a better chance of proving his innocence than his brother? 4. Does Cameron stay in his brother’s place without telling the prison authorities so as not to cause more trouble for his brother, now a fugitive, or does he simply prove via fingerprints, DNA, etc. that he is Cameron? 5.
