How enchanted are you by the first season of the Deception TV show on ABC? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like Deception is cancelled or renewed for season two. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustration when their viewing habits and opinions aren’t considered, we’d like to offer you the chance to rate all of the Deception season one episodes here.
An ABC crime drama from creator Chris Fedaki, Deception stars Jack Cutmore-Scott as illusionist Cameron Black, with Ilfenesh Hadera, Lenora Crichlow, Amaury Nolasco, Justin Chon, Laila Robins, and Vinnie Jones. With big shows in Vegas and New York, Cameron is rocketing to the top, when scandal derails his show and his twin’s life. While watching the news, he realizes that the FBI has been deceived by an illusionist, who has stolen one of his signature moves. Now, this magician is using his tradecraft to help the Feds apprehend some of the most elusive criminals in the world and hopes to prove his brother, Jonathan (Cutmore-Scott), is an innocent man.

The premise and concept of this show is refreshing for a change on TV. It seems there are no new ideas out there and it is too redundant. I do not understand why great shows get cancelled before the stations check the new line up for replacements are going to be well received before they cancel great shows. So great! Dynamic cast, interesting plots, and a suspenseful thread with Mystery Woman. So fascinating to see how they put illusions to use catching bad guys!! This is as inventive as McGyver was in the 80’s. If this gets canceled I’m done with network tv!
This show is great. Just needs a new time slot. Should be on at 8:00 pm Hopefully it will get renewed for a 2nd season. Finally some good material,not your same old cop show. ABC has a keeper.
This show is great! Finally something decent on abc to watch. They made a huge mistake canceling “Forever” and I gave up on watching but Deception is a quality show which deserves a chance to develop a following of its own. No it’s not Castle but it has a chance for a real following from people who are sick of all the crap offerings the networks are cranking out. This is a great show, with a not so great time slot. This is a fun show it has a little of everything humor, tricks and mystery. I hope ABC gives it a chance to find its audience.
I enjoy seeing how tricks/deceptions are performed. It’s like being an insider. Fun!
