How well does President Kirkman preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States in the second season of the Designated Survivor TV show on ABC? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like Designated Survivor is cancelled or renewed for season three. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustration when their viewing habits and opinions aren’t considered, we’d like to offer you the chance to rate all the Designated Survivor season two episodes here.
An ABC political drama, Designated Survivor stars Kiefer Sutherland, Natascha McElhone, Adan Canto, LaMonica Garrett, Kal Penn, Maggie Q, Malik Yoba, Paulo Costanzo, Zoe McLellan, Ben Lawson, Tanner Buchanan, and Mckenna Grace. The conspiracy thriller series centers on Tom Kirkman (Sutherland). After an attack on Capitol Hill wipes out the line of succession, this HUD Secretary becomes President of the United States. In Designated Survivor, season two, President Kirkman is on the hunt for the terrorists who destroyed the Capitol, even as he handles the daily Oval Office crises.
What do you think? Which season two episodes of the Designated Survivor TV series do you rate as wonderful, terrible, or somewhere between? Should ABC cancel or renew Designated Survivor for a third season? Don’t forget to vote, and share your thoughts, below.
9/5/18 update: Designated Survivor was cancelled by ABC but Netflix later picked it up for season three.
This is a really good show! Plase don’t put it on the chopping block. I can’t bear that tv is trying to look like 1. A video game or 2. A comic book. We as adults will simply stop watching the tv networks. At least Netflix may continue to appeal to grownups. I can only pray.
One thing could be improved… sound!
I am so sorry but I think i will stop watching any other shows the networ k just not interested in int rest but old comedy show
Designated Survivor is on of one of the best shows i have seen. Please don’t take it off the air. So far on the list to be cancelled is Code Black, another of my shows that i love. Scorpion , another favorite show. What the heck is going on.
Of course one of the major networks has done something stupid! And of course they will probably replace this great show with some stupid game show. Honestly, where do they find these idiots that decide what to keep and what to cancel!!!
I enjoyed this clever, witty, and very thought provoking show. I only hope that Netflix picks it up as ABC has done another stupid thing!!!!!
I really enjoyed this show – I don’t think it should be cancelled. It’s one of the only ABC shows that I watch. I think you would be doing a real disservice to your viewers if this show is cancelled. Even if I can’t watch it on it regular time slot I always watch thru ‘on demand’. I think all avenues of viewing should be taken into account when you are deciding on it’s viewers.
AGAIN — PLEASE RECONSIDER YOUR DECISION.
This show is very powerful and leave you wanting more. Each character or actors help keep the show in balance whether it is the President or the FBI. also the writing is very believable. You can not leave us hanging without solving the show with a proper ending, trying up loose ends.
There are so many ways to view our favorite tv shows these days–and not just when they first run on tv. ALL ways of viewing should be taken in to account when deciding if a show should be cancelled or not. Designated Survivor is a good show, well worthy of continuing.
PLEASE reconsider canceling this great show. The writing is sharp and crisp. President Kirkman is a great example of what a President should be. ABC should bring it back, if not perhaps another network will recognize what a gem this show is. (Can you tell I’m addicted to this show.)
I am very disappointed to hear of Designated Survivor being canceled. It is such a bright show. Kiefer Sutherland makes a great President. The way he works out problems is really quite ingenious. The only bad idea of this show was having his wife killed off. It didn’t do anything to help the show along. The rest of the cast work well though. Hannah kicks butt.
My husband and I have enjoyed this show a great deal all the family watches including 3 teen age grandsons. So sorry to hear it may be over.
Really cannot believe that the show would be canceled, guess maybe the truth hurts
Great show shows the true world of politics keep it going
My husband and I are glued to the screen for each episode! Please let this show survive!
Please don´t cancel the show!!!! I´m looking forward to see Season 3!!!
