HBO has a new man. Deadline reports Chris Coy has been cast in the network’s new series The Deuce.
From The Wire creator David Simon, the drama will center on “the legalization and subsequent rise of the porn industry in New York’s Times Square from the early 1970s through the mid-1980s.”
Coy will play Paul Hendrickson, a long-time bartender looking to make it big in the LGBT community of New York. Coy joins fellow castmembers James Franco and Maggie Gyllenhaal.
