The peacock network has found ratings success with the dark Grimm series on Friday nights. Is there room for another spooky thriller or will Dracula be cancelled quickly like so many other series? Stay tuned!
NBC’s Dracula is a retelling of the classic Bram Stoker story. In London, Dracula (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) is posing as an American entrepreneur while he seeks revenge on those who cursed him. He doesn’t count on falling in love with a woman (Jessica De Gouw) who looks just like his deceased wife. Others in the cast include Thomas Kretschmann, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Victoria Smurfit, Katie McGrath, and Nonso Anozie.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
5/10 update: NBC has cancelled Dracula after one season and 10 episodes.
Final season averages: 1.1 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 3.25 million total viewers.

Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.
What do you think? Do you like the Dracula TV series? Would you like to see it cancelled or renewed for second season?
LOVE THIS SHOW; PLEASE RENEW!!
gorgeous costumes and sets, steampunk elements, witty dialogue, sharp performances, and vampires who don’t sparkle…..please, please PLEASE renew this show! It is so refreshingly different, as others here have mentioned, from anything else on t.v.
Caught up with the entire show via NBC App in a matter of days. I absolutely love this show, the time period, and the complicated characters. I am meloncholy thinking that there will only be ten episodes. Please don’t cancel it!
Please dont cancel! I love this series….. Plz 🙁
Love the Dracula series. PLEASE do not cancel it!!!!!
I loved Dracula I thought it was a great show and depicted Dracula with poise and class , yet there was a dark and disturbed side to a lot characters that were put on a pedestal originally, Van Helsing for example. I feel the show should keep moving forward . It is intriguing and always had me looking forward to the next episode. There are worse shows out there that are still aired unfortunately.
Please don’t cancel the show Dracula! I love it!!!
Please let us see season 2. I loved the first episode so much that I had to watch every episode after that. In the past I was not a big fan of Dracula, but this version gave a different spin on the Iconic figure. Of course, Jonathan Meyers is fun to watch. And the entire casts did a great job. It was nice to see an emotional Dracula.
I agree with all the comments above and am so looking forward to Season 2 of Dracula – I so hope it doesn’t get cancelled. I’m just sorry we have to wait until September – 8 months is a very long time without this show!
Hooked on Dracula! Love it and hope that it returns for a second season.
Please make season 2 we want it forget the views and demographic I watched it all online dam I shud of watched it proply to bump up the views :/
LOVE DRACULA. LOVE JOHNATHNA. DONT CANCEL PLEASE.
My husband and I became hooked when we watched first episode OnDemand.. we quickly watched them all. We would certainly watch live a season two.
I got completely hooked! I did not think I was going to like it at all, but by the 2nd episode, I was hooked. Good job and a nice new spin on Dracula!
Loved Dracula! PLEASE bring us a season 2. It seems the only thing that makes it anymore are the slap comedy and the cop/police drama shows……give us a different choice in drama by letting us choose to watch Dracula. By the way there is no way this would be as great as it is without this awesome cast.
