The peacock network has found ratings success with the dark Grimm series on Friday nights. Is there room for another spooky thriller or will Dracula be cancelled quickly like so many other series? Stay tuned!
NBC’s Dracula is a retelling of the classic Bram Stoker story. In London, Dracula (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) is posing as an American entrepreneur while he seeks revenge on those who cursed him. He doesn’t count on falling in love with a woman (Jessica De Gouw) who looks just like his deceased wife. Others in the cast include Thomas Kretschmann, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Victoria Smurfit, Katie McGrath, and Nonso Anozie.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
5/10 update: NBC has cancelled Dracula after one season and 10 episodes.
Final season averages: 1.1 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 3.25 million total viewers.

Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.
What do you think? Do you like the Dracula TV series? Would you like to see it cancelled or renewed for second season?
Dracula did not get a fair rating because it was airing through the Holidays! Please renew, it is such a dynamic show and wonderful change of scenery from all the crime show trends.
I agree, it was aired at the wrong time, it is awesome and so is Sean saves the world! They both got the short end by being aired through the holidays!!
Please RENEW!!! I have never been one to watch tv on a Friday night–until Dracula. I do not have DVR, so I always made sure I was home on Friday nights to watch Dracula. Even when I thought I could not keep my eyes open, I never missed a show. I really hope the show will be renewed. I do not think they will find better rating with a different show.
I would like to see more. The script is great and so is the acting.
Great show, please give it one more season

Better ratings than the Vampire Diaries.
Mr. Greenblatt Respectively we don’t live in New York or California, but we are part of the other 49 states. you are clueless about the connection with the demographics who follow and are great fans of Dracula. We have a say in what shows up on our t v screens. Sky Living, Carnival, and NBC partnered together to make this show a reality of Cole haddons and in the process created a serious following of the series. Not on;y in the states but in Jonathans , Jessicas, and Victorias home of Ireland. The explanation of whether ratings are true or… Read more »
