The peacock network has found ratings success with the dark Grimm series on Friday nights. Is there room for another spooky thriller or will Dracula be cancelled quickly like so many other series? Stay tuned!
NBC’s Dracula is a retelling of the classic Bram Stoker story. In London, Dracula (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) is posing as an American entrepreneur while he seeks revenge on those who cursed him. He doesn’t count on falling in love with a woman (Jessica De Gouw) who looks just like his deceased wife. Others in the cast include Thomas Kretschmann, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Victoria Smurfit, Katie McGrath, and Nonso Anozie.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
5/10 update: NBC has cancelled Dracula after one season and 10 episodes.
Final season averages: 1.1 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 3.25 million total viewers.

Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.
What do you think? Do you like the Dracula TV series? Would you like to see it cancelled or renewed for second season?
I love the new concept and take on the whole Dracula methos. I’ve been a big fan of the show and I want them to continue it. That being said they really need to move it to a better time slot if they are looking for alot more viewership. It is an intelligently don’t series that seems to be getting better, with great acting and twists. I write reviews for a blog and I would really give this show a 4 out of 5. Please forward our thoughts to NBC and help to sway them to give a great show… Read more »

I love DRACULA – I think it is well acted, the story is great and the sets are beautiful – like a movie! I sure hope it is NOT cancelled!
Dracula is great, love to see a second series ….c’mon Jonathan…don’t let viewers down
Please renew. I love this series.
Please renew Dracula for a second season. Jonathan Rhys Meyers does an excellent job portraying a more “modern” rendition of Bram Stoker’s Dracula, and the rest of the cast is equally as talented. The costumes and set design are absolutely stunning! The story-line is now really gaining momentum. If you look at the Facebook fan-page for NBC’s Dracula, the number of fans are steadily increasing. The over all majority of comments are all compliments about the show and requests for a second season. Having a time slot for Dracula late on a Friday night automatically puts the series in a… Read more »

Please renew. The show is getting good. I want to see what happens with the sexy Johnathan character. 😉
Renew!!! Love this show! It has to be picked up for another season!
Yes, yes, yes.
I hope they keep Dracula and it is getting good… I will be disappointed that they cancel it.
As the others have stated before me, great show, well written, fabulous costumes, great casting! Johathan was outstanding in the Tudors & this role suits him to a T! It would be a same to loose the desire to work all week & have nothing worth while on tv to look forward too! Says a mom of 4! I beg of you!
This is the ONLY show I will not wait and watch later on Tivo! I will cancel all plans to ensure I get to see the first showing of this each Friday night! This is, by far, the BEST series on NBC, to include Jimmy Fallon, Grimm, etc. It is intelligent, creative, smart, and sooo seductive. NBC, if you don’t renew and move it to a better day and time slot, you are a fool!
