It looks like the magic is over for the three ladies of Eastwick. ABC network has decided against ordering any additional episodes of the supernatural series, effectively cancelling it.
Eastwick revolves around three women (Rebecca Romijn, Lindsay Price, and Jaime Ray Newman) who meet at a wishing fountain and become friends. Soonafter, mysterious Darryl Van Horne (Paul Gross) moves to town and unleashes powers within the ladies. The cast also includes Ashley Benson, Johann Urb, Jon Bernthal, Sara Rue, and Veronica Cartwright.
The show got off to a slow start on September 23rd with a 3.0 rating in the 18-49 demo and 8.5 million total viewers. The second installment fell to a 2.3 in the demo and 6.57 million viewers. The third week fell again to a 1.8 and 5.14 million.

In the weeks that followed, the ratings didn’t get any better and more frequently got worse. Last week, Eastwick hit an all-time low of 1.5 in the demo and 4.4 million.
ABC has opted to pull the show from the schedule for two weeks. This Wednesday, it’s replaced by the Country Music Awards. Next week, it’s being bumped for an interview special called In the Spotlight with Robin Roberts: Janet Jackson. Though Eastwick is scheduled to return on Thanksgiving eve with a new episode, the supernatural drama won’t be around for long after that.
ABC has decided not to order any additional episodes of Eastwick, effectively cancelling the series after 13 episodes. It’s unknown if the last episode will wrap up the ongoing storylines. For now, ABC plans to air all six remaining installments but, if the ratings keep declining, the network could easily pull the series before that happens.

Enough already!!!!! The show is canceled. I loved the show but it’s not coming back. They keep canceling all the good shows but there’s not a thing you or I can do about it.
So enough e-mail, enough chatter, and certainly enough trying to figure out why. It is what it is!!!!!
This show has been poorly advertised, i only stumbled upon it when i say the cast of another show was linked with this one. Me and my friends started watching this show and with in 3 day we had watched all 13 episodes….. it’s a shame that such a good show has been axed because of bad or none existence of advertisement ….
I never heard of the show until a couple of days ago, I started watching the series on demand and i could not evan move from infront of the T.V. i evan paused it to fetch a drink, i really love this show and i think it is stupid to cancel the episodes, Pleasee dnt cancel the show its Brilliant, I love it haha!!! A lot better than eastenders and all the other soaps.
I love this show, I watched every episode on live tv. I just checked to see why the new season hasn’t started yet and its been cancelled? wtf? Somebody bring it back!!!!!!

Am from the middle east, will I saw few episods on MBC 4 It was intresting and kind of unique I was suprised to hear that it was cancelled, couldn’t belive this succussful serise would be cancelled!
It have to continue, and ABC didn’t show all 13 episods thats why I had to see it on MBC 4

I really loved this show. It was one of those shows that I could watch by myself. Deliberately worked my schedule around it. I’d treat myself to whatever I had a craving for, pair a wine with it, turn off my cell and settle down on the couch to watch it. I think it got canceled for two reasons. One, it was poorly advertised. Whoever the ****** in charge was who made the decision to cancel Eastwick should LOSE THEIR JOB. If there are execs who are happening to read over these comments, if you read no other comments, READ THIS ONE: It is SAD that they lack the PERCEPTION to realize that this show – if left on the air – WILL ATTRACT SO MUCH MORE ATTENTION. Ohhh i totally agree with Michelle.
I was looking on my BT vision box and saw it and thought I’d give it a go. I ended up watching like all 13 episodes in a week, it was a great distraction from my A level revision. xD I loved it and just googled it to find the second series and found out its been cancelled :/
It’s totally down to advertising though because I’d never heard of it at all. Someone please air the second series. 🙁
Eastwick has to continue! I agree with Michelle insomuch as it was poorly advertised, and had it been properly advertised, it could have had a much larger audience. I really love the show and want to see it continue. Please ABC keep making episodes!!! Everyone I know who has seen it loves it. I think it has the potential to become an awesome show!!
i think eastwick is a great tv series and i dont want to see them come to a close at 13 !! come on !! there is still so much to be done and if they dont put the rest of them on i will be very sad i wont to know where it is going and what happen with darol van horn please please air the rest of them!!
Im from the uk, ive never seen or heard of this program advertised anywhere, only found it on demand recently and i rlly loved the show. i think the show had great potiential however was poorly advertised and people not made aware of this fantastic new show so well. The idea was great for the series, its a shame its been cancelled.
