It looks like the magic is over for the three ladies of Eastwick. ABC network has decided against ordering any additional episodes of the supernatural series, effectively cancelling it.
Eastwick revolves around three women (Rebecca Romijn, Lindsay Price, and Jaime Ray Newman) who meet at a wishing fountain and become friends. Soonafter, mysterious Darryl Van Horne (Paul Gross) moves to town and unleashes powers within the ladies. The cast also includes Ashley Benson, Johann Urb, Jon Bernthal, Sara Rue, and Veronica Cartwright.
The show got off to a slow start on September 23rd with a 3.0 rating in the 18-49 demo and 8.5 million total viewers. The second installment fell to a 2.3 in the demo and 6.57 million viewers. The third week fell again to a 1.8 and 5.14 million.

In the weeks that followed, the ratings didn’t get any better and more frequently got worse. Last week, Eastwick hit an all-time low of 1.5 in the demo and 4.4 million.
ABC has opted to pull the show from the schedule for two weeks. This Wednesday, it’s replaced by the Country Music Awards. Next week, it’s being bumped for an interview special called In the Spotlight with Robin Roberts: Janet Jackson. Though Eastwick is scheduled to return on Thanksgiving eve with a new episode, the supernatural drama won’t be around for long after that.
ABC has decided not to order any additional episodes of Eastwick, effectively cancelling the series after 13 episodes. It’s unknown if the last episode will wrap up the ongoing storylines. For now, ABC plans to air all six remaining installments but, if the ratings keep declining, the network could easily pull the series before that happens.

I can’t believe that they stopped it! Damn it’s really good and a lot of mystories need to be solved! At least let us know who Darrel is and what’s the real story behind those women! ABC sucks! Can we get it anywhere else? A DVD perhaps?

flood ABC with your emails of complaints….contact other stations via email asking them to pick the show up. If enough people do this they will have to bring it back. Please everybody…if you really love Eastwick then stand up and be heard.

I have loved this movie. The second season will not be published, but is very upset. I think ABC should reconsider its decision and continue the season of the series should be taken … There are too many unresolved questions and I’ll go crazy if I can not find them:) Please! If done enough advertising in this series Charmed as good as I thought.
who do we complain to ? someone with the power to really influence the move to continue the show. Am really an eastwick fan to the bone.
Please bring back Eastwick. We were hooked on the show and it was the best thing to watch in the fall. Give it a chance besides it’s the only thing on ABC we did watch. I don’t even check the TV Guide for ABC anymore. Bring it back please!
I loved this show so far! Why is it every time a good show comes on people take it off so fast and not give it a chance that maybe it would do better the more people hear about it? So not fair for the ones who got into it that Knew about it.
Myself and my daughter have just watched all 13 episoped on catch up tv, warner and we both thought it was excellent, we are so hookked. We are gutted that there is not going to be and episode 2.

Half the reason new shows don’t do so well is because people don’t want to get hooked on a show to have it yanked off the next season. ABC and Eastwick and now CBS and the Forgotten.

I now boycott ABC shows completely, due to they’re flaky disregard for fans and good entertainment. What’s the point in investing loyalty to anything they produce, when they yank it so easily and won’t air the last episodes? Bad customer service. I’m starting to think that ABC is run by the postal service.EXECS >>LISTEN UP ,to the loyal fans…The LEAST you can do is reveal the mysteries and rap up a canceled show…YOU pulled this unforgiveable crap too may times, no wonder fans leave & go to other stations .
