It looks like the magic is over for the three ladies of Eastwick. ABC network has decided against ordering any additional episodes of the supernatural series, effectively cancelling it.
Eastwick revolves around three women (Rebecca Romijn, Lindsay Price, and Jaime Ray Newman) who meet at a wishing fountain and become friends. Soonafter, mysterious Darryl Van Horne (Paul Gross) moves to town and unleashes powers within the ladies. The cast also includes Ashley Benson, Johann Urb, Jon Bernthal, Sara Rue, and Veronica Cartwright.
The show got off to a slow start on September 23rd with a 3.0 rating in the 18-49 demo and 8.5 million total viewers. The second installment fell to a 2.3 in the demo and 6.57 million viewers. The third week fell again to a 1.8 and 5.14 million.

In the weeks that followed, the ratings didn’t get any better and more frequently got worse. Last week, Eastwick hit an all-time low of 1.5 in the demo and 4.4 million.
ABC has opted to pull the show from the schedule for two weeks. This Wednesday, it’s replaced by the Country Music Awards. Next week, it’s being bumped for an interview special called In the Spotlight with Robin Roberts: Janet Jackson. Though Eastwick is scheduled to return on Thanksgiving eve with a new episode, the supernatural drama won’t be around for long after that.
ABC has decided not to order any additional episodes of Eastwick, effectively cancelling the series after 13 episodes. It’s unknown if the last episode will wrap up the ongoing storylines. For now, ABC plans to air all six remaining installments but, if the ratings keep declining, the network could easily pull the series before that happens.

I love shows of the supernatural and Eastwick was one of my favorites. I really think you should consider putting back on the air! I was excited to see what would happen next and i was anxious to see the next show.
Romijn, Price, and Newman are the sexiest trio of women to ever appear on screen in a weekly series. I never missed it no matter what was going on I was in front of the set. I have followed Rebbecca since her early modeling days, she is absolutely stunning and can act as well (Femme Fatale) Their interaction on screen was perfect. ABC exc. have again missed the boat.Go figure, thats why they get the big bucks, they know nothing.
Because we already seen this stuff in Charmed…
Im pretty upset that ABC has decided to cancel the show because i loved it i thought it was amazing i really enjoyed watching it.I hope that enough people can change ABC’S mind.
I was hoping that the same channel that hosts, Supernatural, Vamp Diaries and now the repeats of Moonlight (another awesome show that ABC took off in its first year because of the writers strike) would pick up Eastwick….I even posted on their (CW) website that it would be an awesome idea if they would do that…they could be the supernatural channel. We all know how popular that theme is LOL.
Think that eastwick was becoming addictive,and it was wrong for abc to cut it.I had been looking forward to more eastwick.just because it was a slow start doesn’t mean you can’t move it to better time slot to get more peeople.I

I loved and still do love Eastwick, It was funny, gribbing with great story lines that had you waiting for the next episode…. A feeling i dont get with the long drawn out reality shows…. Please bring it back, there is an audience out there with the potential to grow with a little bit of faith hope charity and chance but most of all with the magic of the show……
I love eastwick and I was waiting watching for it to come back on. Its a show that my boyfriend ( i know ) and I actually enjoyed together!!! bring it back. 🙁
I’m bummed about eastwick! It was one of the only shows I made sure I was available to watch. I agree that this was a brilliant show. Sad and upset!
I loved this show. We even had the guys at work watching it. I think the day and time is what killed it. Wish they would bring it back !
Rats! I loved the show, it was fun ! they keep all those reality junk shows… I don’t care about watching those bachlor and bachlorettes make fools of themselves! Geezzzzzzz!
its such an amazing show and im devastated that the rest might not be aired. i really want to know what happens in the rest of the storyline!! whats been recorded should be aired its only fair on the people who actually do love it!!!!
Eastwick was def. my favorite tv show and i was very upset to see it had been cancelled, it was exciting and brilliant! 🙂 I also dont say this about alot of shows, but yes it was one of the best and most entertaining shows i have watched! So please start it back up again 🙂 i would love to see more! 🙂
Eastwick was a quirkey kind of entertaining show..it made me forget about the real world for the hour it was on. The characters were fun, this was a GREAT show, just because it wasn’t like all the others! I hope you re-consider.
