Evil is coming. The second season of the supernatural drama will premiere next month on Paramount+. It was just announced earlier this month that the series would be moving to the streaming service after airing its first season on CBS during the 2019-20 season.
Paramount+ released a teaser trailer revealing the premiere date of the second season of Evil. Katja Herbers, Mike Colter, Aasif Mandvi, Michael Emerson, Christine Lahti, Kurt Fuller, Brooklyn Shuck, Skylar Gray, Maddy Crocco, and Dalya Knapp star in the series which follows investigators of unexplained phenomenon.
The series returns on June 20th. Check out the trailer for season two of Evil below.

How can you do this? Taking a show people watched and move it to a streaming network and charge people in order to continue watching. Is this the way all networks are going to play? Let us watch a show on the regular network only to move it to their plus networks?
Pretty soon people won’t be able to watch TV.
It sucks that the networks can get away with doing this.
I won’t be paying to watch Evil.
Hope the networks feel good about ******** people.
It’s sad because the company hooks you with a program, then they want you to pay for it. I will not be a fan any longer. There isn’t that much thought provoking television out there. Sad.
Love the Evil series and have been eagerly awaiting the return. Sadly I will not be able to follow the series, as I do not subscribe to Paramount. So disappointed .
I will probably never subscribe to Paramount +. Channel 2, 4., 7 & 11 hardly have anything worth watching. This is like they cut off their nose to spite their face.
I can’t wait for this show. I loved it. Paramount is smart to pickup the show. Too sad for me.
No, do not have paramount plus….
This is bull s..t to change to where they can charge us. I will make sure that when the new tv season starts I will watch no nbc shows. Why get interested in a show and have them pull this stuff. NBC you can only do this once to me.
I watched the first season and loved it, now I don’t have paramount available to me. So I miss season 2. Thanks CBS. You suck!
Once again, a unique, excellent show (I was hooked) dangled in front of you so you can spend more money…..sick of this tactic and I WON”T buy into it. Not everybody has $$$ to spend on everything and anything. I’m done.
Will not watch anything on streaming. We are paying for theses shows already on cable. Now with this pandemic & people out of work they want us to pay again. Never. I won’t be watching anything new this season on CBS because after it will be on streaming. Enough. Already. Put the shows back where they belong.
Just get rid of cable. I pay 9.99 for P+. NO COMMERCIALS. I pay 19.99 for Hulu, Disney+ and ESPN+. No commercials on Hulu. I watch all the shows when I want. Plus all the extra shows. Hulu has NBC, ABC and Fox again no commercials. I have Amazon prime already so nothing extra for the multitude of their shows and I share Netflix with a friend and I get Apple+ free since it started because I keep upgrading my phone. GET RID OF PAYING THOSE RIDICULOUS CABLE PRICES. Just pay for Internet and your gold.
No local news o.
I understand the frustration, but the truth is a lot of these shows would be outright cancelled if they did not move to streaming. No one wants to pay extra money, but it is naive to equate the move with corporate greed.
Also it is incorrect to claim that you are paying for CBS. Free-to-air CBS is paying for their programming by selling you, the audience, to their advertisers.
In this case the CBS executives deemed that the audience of Evil was challenging to sell to advertisers, yet had enough of a niche audience to move to streaming.
I love how you used “Supernatural Series” in the title to draw people into this article. No Dean or Sam here. LOL
It’s a genre…
I watched the first season on Netflix….will it still come to Netflix eventually ?
That’s when I’ll see it too!
Love the show. Glad it’s returning. With that being said, i won’t be paying to watch though. Lol
I agree with Deb! All these new so called Plus networks are using tactics like drug dealers. They let you get hooked on a series and then start charging you! I’ll just order from Netflix.
LOL!
Very UNHAPPY that “Evil” producers are going to start CHARGING us to see the show instead of keeping it on regular TV. So greedy.
You’ve got to realize they’re in the business of making money off of your commitment to watching their programming. Now that said, I’ll agree that it’s greedy in some way, knowing and hoping the fans of the first season will follow. I think a lot of the stations are going to notice most of the people may not follow, but there may be enough to warrant this kind of duplicitous tactic.
