Stock up on holy water. FOX has ordered The Exorcist TV show from 20th Century Fox Television and Morgan Creek Productions. The psychological thriller drama, inspired by the William Peter Blatty novel and film franchise, comes from writer Jeremy Slater. Slater will executive produce with Rolin Jones, James Robinson, Barbara Wall, David Robinson, and Rupert Wyatt, who is set as director.
The Exorcist TV series cast includes: Geena Davis, Alfonso Herrara, Ben Daniels, Brianne Howey, Hannah Kasulka, Alan Ruck, and Kurt Egyiawan.

I absolutely love this show and the characters are amazing. I would love to see this go for 10 years. I don’t understand why the rating are so low. Doesn’t help it’s on Friday and I watch it then. I also dvr it and have a Wednesday watch the exorcist viewing party and pass around dish to talk about it after. We have 20-30 people a week. But that doesn’t count. I wonder why Warner Bros. TV can’t at least co-produce the TV version of “The Exorcist” with 20th Century Fox TV since WB owns the “Exorcist” franchise?
