What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the NBC television network, First Dates comes from executive producers Ellen DeGeneres and Jeff Kleeman. Drew Barrymore narrates the dating reality TV series, which is based on the UK program of the same name. First Dates takes place in a Chicago restaurant, with restaurateur Sandro Coppola serving as Maitre d’. The action centers on different couples who have just met, as they go out on their first dates. The participants — from all over the US — are of various ages and backgrounds. At the end of each hour, the audience learns whether the daters plan to see one another again.

Telly’s Take
First Dates premiered with low ratings and the numbers haven’t gotten any better. However, they have remained pretty consistent. In the current market, I think that may be enough to get First Dates a second chance.

I found this show very entertaining. sweet, touching and funny. I liked that it had all different people and each date was from same area so they could continue to date at home. I have told many about this show so I need you to renew it .

This show should be renewed. Love watching it. Maybe they would get more viewing from the 18-49 age group if it was on a different night. But I will watch it no matter what night it’s on.

What I liked about this show, was that it included senior citizens..we should have more “love connections” for this demographic

Please renew this show. I so looked forward to watching it every Friday evening here in Milwaukee. Drew’s narration, the ambiance of the Chicago restaurant and especially the people on their first dates were very entertaining.
Please renew, renew, renew First Dates. I love this show. It’s entertaining and it gives me hope and inspiration to join the dating world again. I would pay to watch a 2nd season!!! I’m not alone either. I know a lot of people that watched it too!
