The game is over. Deadline reports NBC has cancelled their new drama Game of Silence during its first season.
The series revolves around five childhood friends who have kept a dark secret for 25 years. The cast includes David Lyons, Michael Raymond-James, Larenz Tate, Bre Blair, Claire van der Boom, Deidrie Henry, Conor O’Farrell, and Demetrius Grosse.
Only six episodes into its run, Game of Silence has received steady-but-low ratings, earning an average of .81 in the 18-49 demo and 3.898 million viewers.
NBC has also cancelled the freshman medical drama Heartbeat and the Eva Longoria comedy Telenovela.

Are you serious, I hardly ever watch series shows and I got hooked on this one. You can’t end it like this. At least give us another series to find out how it gets wrapped up. If not the writers need to do it in a movie form. Great itea, great show. EGADS NBC!

Should have renewed this one. They don’t all need to quite as good as stranger things, but this one wasn’t far off. Really sad. It to see what could have been.

I am very disappointed that NBC would not take a risk on the Game of Silence. The characters were dynamic and the story line kept you guessing. Smart TV for a change.

Please don’t cancel Game of Silence. A great show. Finally getting it right NBC. A show that is not fluff and not another cop show. Fans in Oregon and Washington.
