As expected, there won’t be a second season for Gang Related. FOX has cancelled the summer cop drama after one season of 13 episodes.
On Gang Related, a police detective (Ramon Rodriguez) is torn between his allegiance to his job and co-workers and the gang and crime family that raised him. The cast also includes Terry O’Quinn, RZA, Jay Hernandez, Sung Kang, Inbar Lavi, Cliff Curtis, and Shantel VanSanten.

The series debuted at the end of May to a 0.9 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 2.94 million viewers.
That was a poor showing right out of the gate and the ratings got even worse as the weeks progressed.
It ended up being one of FOX’s worst-performing summer series. Despite having a small but loyal audience, it was expected that the network would cancel the show.
The final episode, which aired August 14th, left plenty of things unresolved.

you don’t seem to know about your audience. If you called from Cumberland Tn or Eugene Or in one of those research calls, I don’t answer the phone. You people think that you have to have giant nudity or reality shows. You are missing the frigging boat.
How do series like Gang Related get canceled and others like Power stay on? So Unfair

This show was one of my favorites. Every episode was like a mini movie. Action, drama, love, and a great story line. Everything you need for a great show. This show needs to come back on ANY network (even Netflix).

What’s wrong with Fox. That was an amazing TV show series
They didn’t give “Gang Related” a chance which is sad. You guys there at Fox are out of touch with your customers. You need to stop focusing on ratings, and give the people what they want. I will not be watching fox anymore due to this decision. This was a good show, with good actors, and a good storyline.
Put it on another chanel man.this is crazy,that show is better then any show out.I rather watch gang related over Empire any day.
