As expected, there won’t be a second season for Gang Related. FOX has cancelled the summer cop drama after one season of 13 episodes.
On Gang Related, a police detective (Ramon Rodriguez) is torn between his allegiance to his job and co-workers and the gang and crime family that raised him. The cast also includes Terry O’Quinn, RZA, Jay Hernandez, Sung Kang, Inbar Lavi, Cliff Curtis, and Shantel VanSanten.

The series debuted at the end of May to a 0.9 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 2.94 million viewers.
That was a poor showing right out of the gate and the ratings got even worse as the weeks progressed.
It ended up being one of FOX’s worst-performing summer series. Despite having a small but loyal audience, it was expected that the network would cancel the show.
The final episode, which aired August 14th, left plenty of things unresolved.

I am from UK and baffald why FOX have pulled the plug and stopped after only one season? This show was quality as far as TV series goes, very dissapointed. They need to finish off the show with a season 2 to answer a lot of unresolved questions.

I found Gang Related by accident yesterday. Was looking for a crime drama series to watch and it popped up with a good review rating. I was intrigued and bewildered why I had never heard of it. I’m on episode 4 right now and wanted more info on the show. That’s how I found this site. I am so bummed out that they cancelled it. PLEASE BRING GANG RELATED BACK!!!!! I’m from New Zealand and to see a Maori a.k.a Cliff Curtis part of incredible team of actors etc was truly a strong point for me being Maori myself. But everyone is right, the problem here in NZ it was on too late but the story beats loads of shows currently screening I cannot believe this got the ratings suggested it just doesn’t make sense, bring it back, great storyline. Really enjoy this show.
