As expected, there won’t be a second season for Gang Related. FOX has cancelled the summer cop drama after one season of 13 episodes.
On Gang Related, a police detective (Ramon Rodriguez) is torn between his allegiance to his job and co-workers and the gang and crime family that raised him. The cast also includes Terry O’Quinn, RZA, Jay Hernandez, Sung Kang, Inbar Lavi, Cliff Curtis, and Shantel VanSanten.

The series debuted at the end of May to a 0.9 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 2.94 million viewers.
That was a poor showing right out of the gate and the ratings got even worse as the weeks progressed.
It ended up being one of FOX’s worst-performing summer series. Despite having a small but loyal audience, it was expected that the network would cancel the show.
The final episode, which aired August 14th, left plenty of things unresolved.

I wish you folks had a different way of measuring the number of viewers because I know for a fact this show had many of my friends watching it.
Gang Related is unlike any other series as it is unique with characters that you can relate to as in Lopez who is gang-related and protects the family he grew up with then has to be a cop who has found a family in his colleagues.. the sacrifice, emotional control, drama, tradegy, heroism all comes out in this series. That is why I cannot understand its cancellation .. these are the series that will forever be relevant for a long time to come …i hope another channel will take season 2
I loved this series. So original to me and captured a lot of emotional moments. I cannot believe it’s cancelled, because it was my favourite so far and I so would have watched plenty more seasons. #gangrelatedlove
What a shame this is a great series we are left asking whether the general died or not but its a great series hope by some miracle they bring it back for season 2
Just found out about this serie and watch the 1st and so far only season. Cant believe that they cancelled it. I really wanna see a season 2. Biggest cliffhanger ever. Please do a second season, it needs to be done.

The show was awesome. Well dropped and cast. Looking forward to second season. Hope some other channel picks up the up and coming drama series. Very disappointed to hear no season 2. Can any other channels please help.

yes definitely i will love to see season 2, i watch the first season 3 already the first time i watched it by myself and the second time with my brother and the third with the whole family on the Netfilx
