Airing on the CBS television network, God Friended Me stars Brandon Micheal Hall, Violett Beane, Joe Morton, Suraj Sharma, Javicia Leslie, and Erica Gimpel, with Adam Goldberg and Jessica Lu recurring. Set in New York City, the series revolves around a thoughtful and outspoken podcaster named Miles (Hall). Miles is an atheist and that puts him at odds with his father (Morton), a former reverend. Miles’ life is turned upside down when he receives a friend request on social media from a user named “God”. He eventually accepts the request and starts digging into his new friend’s account, convinced it’s a hoax. He partners with journalist Cara Bloom (Beane) and gets additional aide from his sister Ali (Leslie) and his hacker pal, Rakesh (Sharma). Miles is convinced that the “God” account is an elaborate hoax and is devoted to uncovering the truth. In the meantime, he’s playing along and, in the process, seeing his life changed forever.

PLEASE DO BRING BACK THE TV SHOW”GOD FRIENDED ME” FOR SEASON 3 AND MANY MORE SEASONS. AFTER THAT! DO NOT CANCEL IT! IT IS THE VERY BEST SHOW ON TV! THE SCRIPTS ARE GREAT; THE ACTORS THE BEST AROUND, AND IT IS MY HUSBAND’S AND MY VERY FAVORITE SHOW, AS WELL AS MANY OF OUR FRIENDS. WE NEED MANY MORE FAITH BASED SHOWS ON TV LIKE THIS THESE DAYS! PLEASE DON”T DISAPPOINT ALL THEIR FANS BY CANCELLING THIS SHOW!
I always look forward to watching this show each week. I am not happy that it’s being canceled and it I’m also not happy about the way they just abruptly decided to end it
I am soooo bummed that God Friended Me ended! It was great to have a show that didn’t have shootings, violence, sex, etc. Just the message about goodness, hope, faith and optimism. Now we’re left with with the former. So sad that it comes down to the numbers and dollars and cents…although it makes little sense.
Please don’t cancel its on of the few shows I can watch with my child
I just found this show during the second half of the second season. Wish CBS would have given it more of a chance. Loved the actors and their characters, story lines were interesting.
Everyone who watched God Friended Me loved the series and that included all age groups.
CBS, please RECONSIDER the decision you made to cancel this series. It is the one TV show that brought people of all backgrounds together to enjoy a delightful drama, always leaving all with hope that good things can and do happen. Each episdoe in the series ended with a positive message and always made one smile. God Friended Me combined technology with real life scenarios and was always uplifting.
Please RENEW God Friended Me, and kudos to the writers, producers and actors.
Loved the show! It seems like there should be plenty of future messages to God. There will be plenty of material for a season three!

inspirational my husband also is very disappointed. We hope it will be picked
up by another network.
Sorry to see God Friended Me come to an end. I wish it would continue, it is a bright spot during the week that the whole family can enjoy. It was so great to have such an uplifting show with all of the sad, terrible and frightening things going on in the world today.

And violence.
I will miss my favorite show.
I loved the show, God Friended Me. It was positive, uplifting, and engaging without being too sentimental. I am not religious but I looked forward to watching it every Sunday night.
It really is the last show I watch on network tv other than the news. The rest are comedies, contests, and crime shows– the three Cs. Boring!
Such a good show. Sad to see it go. This show was something needed in this time of turmoil.
So sorry it’s cancelled. Something you could watch without the bad words and nudity
