What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the CBS television network, God Friended Me stars Brandon Micheal Hall, Violett Beane, Joe Morton, Suraj Sharma, Javicia Leslie, and Erica Gimpel, with Adam Goldberg and Jessica Lu recurring. Set in New York City, the series revolves around a thoughtful and outspoken podcaster named Miles (Hall). Miles is an atheist and that puts him at odds with his father (Morton), a former reverend. Miles’ life is turned upside down when he receives a friend request on social media from a user named “God”. He eventually accepts the request and starts digging into his new friend’s account, convinced it’s a hoax. He partners with journalist Cara Bloom (Beane) and gets additional aide from his sister Ali (Leslie) and his hacker pal, Rakesh (Sharma). Miles is convinced that the “God” account is an elaborate hoax and is devoted to uncovering the truth. In the meantime, he’s playing along and, in the process, seeing his life changed forever.

God befriend Me Don’t cancel this show it is such wonderful family helping people we in joy every week watching this
There other show should be cancel because they are stupid We are getting tired of Young Sheldon all he does is whine enough is enough. . Broke isn’t that great either
I love this show. Please don’t cancel it.
I am heartbroken ..it was the ONLY series I watched on any of the 3 major networks
“God Friended Me” is among the very best programs on TV. High moral code, true concern for our fellow man, intrigue, love, family, friendship, mystery, humor and a pinch of common sense. What other program can claim that list?? I am truly disappointed that ratings do not support such a program. CBS should keep it going–it just hasn’t caught fire yet……..
Its a shame CBS is canceling a show that has more viewers than shows they are keeping. Its a shame that we can’t keep a show that shows the good in people each week. CBS please renew a show that millions of people love to watch each week, and appreciate that it does not have violence in every episode.
I am so disappointed that this show has been cancelled. It was such a good show and I loved the characters.
Very disappointed in CBS for cancelling God Friended Me. With what we’re going through in this crazy pandemic, we could all use the much needed spiritual boost GFM provided. So you cancel one of the few shows on today that gave messages of hope and faith. Good job. Maybe you can replace it with another “cop” show. GOD knows we need another one of those!!! Pun intended.
