TV show description:
A 19th century western from creators Scott Frank and Steven Soderbergh, the Godless TV show centers on Roy Goode (O’Connell). After betraying his mentor, the infamous gangster Frank Griffin (Daniels), Roy must go on the run from him and his “brotherhood” of criminals.
Although he once viewed Roy as a son, Griffin and his crew are now hell-bent on revenge. On the lam, Roy seeks refuge at the La Belle, New Mexico ranch of the widow Alice Fletcher (Dockery).
A remote, rundown, frontier mining town, in La Belle, the ladies run the show. When they learn Griffin and his gang are on their way, they unite to defend themselves against these notorious outlaws.

My wife and enjoyed this show very much. We hope it is renewed.
I like westerns and I’ve watched many, Godless is in fact the best western I’ve seen so far and it spills over into a genre of a love story. Is though it provided me an ending , I’m a sucker for not ending well buy happy endings still. Even though Roy may be non commitall he needs family ties. I loved it, big fan of big country westerns that give a glimpse of what it was looking me. Hopefully not as violent. But tough!
Godless is well written, well acted, and well produced. Sadly, that may contribute to its death. I hope not.
I loved Godless, watched the entire 7 shows in two days. Thought you beauty, cannot wait for season 2 – but noohhhh! There is no season 2. Best thing I have viewed in quite some time. I certainly hope there is a season two, coming soon.
Loved it and the strong characters. If it can be done there are many mores stories in this town to be told.
A refreshing western. I think there are enough strings left that a sequel would be great following Roy in Calif. and the characters in La Belle.

It has been a long time since I have felt like standing and clapping a western production. In fact the only one that is in the “picture “ so to speak would be True Grit. My hat is off to the entire cast of actors, directors (including 2nd unit), writing and especially production. I agree that it is a stand alone complete story that would suffer from a “sequel “ . I like the show, but I don’t know how it could continue because one of the main characters was killed. What would the next season look like, a love story? I wouldn’t watch it for that reason. It was exciting. If you could keep it that way, it would be a hit.
