What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the Amazon Prime streaming service, Goliath stars Billy Bob Thornton, Nina Arianda, Tania Raymonde, Diana Hopper, Ana de la Reguera, and Julie Brister. Season three guests include Dennis Quaid, Amy Brenneman, Griffin Dunne, Sherilyn Fenn, Beau Bridges, Shamier Anderson, Julia Jones, Leslie Grossman, Graham Greene, and Illeana Douglas. The series follows Billy McBride (Thornton), the “David” of the series, who takes on the powerful Goliaths of the justice system and the world. In season three, The unexpected death of an old friend leads Billy McBride to take a case in the drought-stricken Central Valley. He comes face-to-face with a new Goliath — a billionaire rancher (Quaid) and his sister (Brenneman) and their scheme to steal water, California’s most valuable resource. As Billy and his team pursue the truth, old enemies and personal demons resurface and force him to confront his own mortality.
Goliath has been renewed for a fourth and final season which will debut September 24, 2021. Stay tuned for further updates.

Unless Amazon decides to release viewership numbers, it’s difficult to know if a show like Goliath is doing well enough to be renewed for a fourth season. Considering the talent attached to this series, I suspect that the show will be renewed. I’ll update this page with breaking developments. One of the best series on TV with great acting and writing. Sure hope there is a season 4 and many others. I generally binge watch the series in two days- that’s how much I enjoy it. Billy Bob is just perfect for this role. The regular cast and guests are fantastic. Kelley has another winner.

Hoping for Season 4 – and, yes, with Billy alive.
I hope it is renewed- and with Billy alive. I can see the season 4 opening scene with Billy being attended to by paramedics shocking him back.
This was a very good season… and it strongly echoed the 2017 documentary Water & Power a California Heist.
Which it was great idea for an underlying premise for this year. For me this season redeemed itself from season 2 which was extremely dark and twisted.
I love this show please continue it for a 4 season!!
