Hallmark Channel is ready to take viewers back to the fictional and magical town of Middleton. The cable channel has announced that season seven of the Good Witch TV series will debut on Sunday, May 16th. Unlike past seasons, a Good Witch movie wasn’t released in the fall.
Good Witch stars Catherine Bell, James Denton, Sarah Power, Catherine Disher, Kylee Evans, Katherine Barrell, Marc Bendavid, and Scott Cavalheiro. Set in the town of Middleton, the show follows Cassandra “Cassie” Nightingale (Bell). She’s the owner of a shop called Bell, Book & Candle and is now married to Dr. Sam Radford (Denton). Like her daughter Grace, Cassie has the gift of enchanted insight and magical intuition.
In season seven, the velvet pouches of soil discovered by Cassie (Bell), Abigail (Power) and Joy (Barrell) mark the start of a new Merriwick mystery for the cousins to unravel. It leads them to reflect on their pasts and how learning from certain life events have impacted who they are now.

Catherine Bell and James Denton Return to Star in Network’s Historically Highly Rated Scripted Primetime Series
STUDIO CITY, CA – February 11, 2021 – “Good Witch” returns for more magical adventures in the bucolic burb of Middleton when season seven premieres Sunday, May 16 (9:00 p.m. ET/PT), on Hallmark Channel. Based on the “The Good Witch” movie franchise that is the most successful in the network’s history, the series stars Catherine Bell (“Army Wives,” “JAG”) and James Denton (“Desperate Housewives,” “Devious Maids”). Since the first movie 12 years ago, Cassie Nightingale has become a character that Hallmark Channel viewers have fallen in love with and look forward to welcoming into their homes. Sarah Power (“Killjoys”), Catherine Disher (“Abby Hatcher”), Kylee Evans (“The Strain”), Katherine Barrell (“Wynona Earp”), Marc Bendavid (“Murdoch Mysteries”) and Scott Cavalheiro (“Carter”) also star.
“More than a decade after first meeting Cassie and the colorful characters of Middleton, viewers continue to be enchanted by their stories,” said Michelle Vicary, Executive Vice President, Programming, Crown Media Family Networks. “The new season has more magic, love and adventure in store for viewers than ever before and we’re excited to share it with fans.”

I just adore the Good Witch movies and series tremendously, I keep watching them over and over again but I don’t care I can’t go very long without seeing their magic and mystery and love,,, so glad they are returning!
I love the Good Witch movies and TV series. I’ve been mesmerized since day one and have not missed one episode. The saddest day will be if Good Witch ends (which I hope doesn’t happen).

The only problem I have with this show is the James Denton role. Compared to the actor who played her first husband, he can’t hold a candle.
I think Sam is perfect for Cassie. Yes, the 1st husband was great too .
I have watched both husbands in other roles..and now that her first husband plays in another series, I do NOT like him and James Denton has grown into his role so nicely! I just miss Grace and hope they find Nick a good match!,
